« Very clean and comfortable »

« Clean room nicely appointed. Quaint bar with wood fire and good selection of drinks including local ales. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was cereals and breakfast sandwiches (bacon, eggs etc) . Would stay again if in that area. »

« The food was excellent - both breakfast and evening meal. Full fresh cooked breakfast included in the cost of the room. Proper Americano coffee served at no extra cost with breakfast! I had a glass of champagne with the evening meal and it was chilled, bubbly and perfect. »

« Property was as expected. Parking was plentiful, room was clean, food was good. Stayed here with my 85 year old mother-in-law who has mobility issues and is dairy, wheat and gluten free. Food was a little limited and the lack of a non dairy spread at breakfast was a surprise. however the staff went out of their way to accommodate her and as this was her first time in any hotel she loved it. »

« A well managed hotel which is part of a beautiful country mansion, Friendly and diligent staff. Comfortable and spacious rooms with lots of thoughtful touches, generous tea and coffee supplies, bottle of water, clothes brushes, trouser press and ironing facilities, great for a special event! Peaceful setting in lush gardens. Fab breakfast, wide choice of food and all perfectly cooked. »

« What a strange place! turned into a vaccination centre which is fine but still taking bookings. Restaurant and bar are shut and not manned. The team at reception looks completely overwhelmed and disorganised but trying its best Quality food is mediocre and pricy. Lovely gym next door fully fitted and free of charge »
