'This is a very old characterful property, with low beams etc. Venue was chosen for a small family reunion and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff were all very polite, helpful and patient which adds to the enjoyment. The food was really excellent and thanks to the chef none of our group had any complaints, Definitely recommend.'

'Nice hotel, nice room Only disadvantage you could not switch off the central heating. So it was like a sauna the whole night. Wake up with a headache due to that..'

'Vriendelijk en servicegericht: föhn, strijkijzer en waterkoker op je kamer. Het oudste deel is een oude sfeervolle pub. Een fijne plek om even als 2e thuis te hebben. Heerlijk rustig wakker worden met alleen vogels en blatende lammetjes als achtergrondgeluid.'

'We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay.'

'Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for.'

'Nice hotel some miles of the motorway. Quiet place although sounds from restaurant below were easily heard in the room of my collegue in front of the hotel. Nice large bathroom. No hairdryer.'
