B&B in Bicester

'We had a lovely meal in the restaurant but unfortunately the stay was less impressive. Having booked a room for 3 it was set up for 2 with just 2 towels, 2 mugs, 2 glasses and 1 tea bag. At breakfast we waited 50 minutes for our cooked breakfast with no apology or explanation. When it finally arrived we asked if we could have some toast with it only to be told that they do not do toast with the English Breakfast! The tea was lukewarm and had to be returned and the 'fresh' orange juice was...

'The photos are NOT AT ALL accurate. The place was not as advertised. The hallways were grimy, the shade on the window was tied closed so couldn’t see outside if you wanted to, although there was tea/coffee set up-only decaf was available and the milk pods were curdled. The decor was non-existent, totally barren and cold-Fluorescent overhead lighting, tiny bathroom, a larger person would not be able to fit in the shower, sitting on the toilet your knees almost touch the sink which was inches from...

'It is truly a unique experience in a marvellous town. The family room is at the far end of the pub, private and still you can mingle with the pub crowd if you want too. The bus to Oxford (once per hour in the weekend) stops in front of the pub, an absolute plus. There’s only room for four cars at the parking so get in there in time. If you have a dust allergy it’s better to chose something else. This is a couple of hundred years old environment; it’s prown to have dust. '

'We would highly recommend this place to stay. Staff very friendly and excellent food. Comfortable room.'

'Our hosts were gracious, caring and provided the best service one could have hoped. They made our time at Aylesbury fun'

'This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. For being on a busy road it was very quiet. Michelle is welcoming, but leaves you to get on with...

'Just got back from a 2 night stay. Absolutely charming place to stay staff were so friendly and helpful. So close to the Center just a brief stroll down the lane would definitely come back to stay again. The dog loved it too'
