Fantastic location in the Golden Triangle. Le Clos Du Paradis Gites and Chambre D’Hote is located within the centre of the beautiful village of Daglan with all amenities within walking distance. We have parking, gardens and a swimming pool. The gite is fully equipped with washing machine, nespresso machine, cooker, hob, microwave, bbq, fresh linen and everything else you could need for a comfortable stay. The tourist office is just next door so you can plan your days with ease. Enjoy the river walks, a hot air balloon trip, the many restaurants and 5 Châteaux all on the doorstep. Visit the town of Sarlat, Domme or Monpazier just to highlight a few. There are wonderful markets to sample local produce and during the summer months the famous night markets are well worth a visit. A trip to Daglan is unforgettable you can relax or fill your days with the endless possibilities this beautiful region has to offer.

Het appartement was compleet ingericht inclusief een terrasje, grote tuin en zwembad. Bijzonder rustige omgeving, in een pitoresk dorpje. Aardige eigenaren!

Deze vakantiewoning is gewoonweg fantastisch. Samen met onze honden werden we hartelijk ontvangen. Er werd zelf een tafeltje gereserveerd in een gezellig restaurantje in het dorp. Alles is tip top in orde in de woning, tot in het kleinste detail. De eigenaren staan altijd voor je klaar, voor tips te geven of voor een gezellige babbel. De locatie is uitstekend om de streek te ontdekken en lekker te eten. De rivier loopt net achter het huisje, zalig gewoon! Wij keren zeker terug, voor de woning maar zeker en vast ook voor de eigenaren ! Het was een week om nooit te vergeten. Bedankt!

Booking from pictures online has some degree of uncertainty. We often overthink it … This jumped off the page and on arrival instantly reassured that was the right decision. Clean, comfortable accommodation, gardens and pool better than we could have hoped, easy parking and Daglan turned out to be a lucky bonus - quiet village, lovely local shops but in the heart of the region for easy access to everything. L’Annexe for decent, good value food and service a la Basil Fawlty - top blokes! Genial hosts and convivial company, HIGHly recommend.

Wonderful Gite, amazing location, Vicky and Anthony are wonderful hosts with lots of knowledge of where to visit and where to eat. The accommodation was very comfortable with everything you need for a super holiday, the swimming pool was wonderful and the grounds very well maintained. Would absolutely recommend this place for a great holiday in the Dordoigne. We will definitely be returning. Thank-you Vicky and Anthony for making our holiday an unforgettable one.

Le Clos du Paradis is aptly named. We spent a fabulous two weeks in the perfect gite with a most beautiful garden in the gorgeous Dordogne countryside. A peaceful and totally relaxing getaway but with easy access to great places to visit and activities, as well as superb places to eat, vineyards and local markets. Vicky and Anthony are truly wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Definitely a place to return to!

The fire has everything you need for a lovely stay, clean, comfortable and pretty. Vicky and Anthony were excellent hosts, always available for local information. The pool was kept at a lovely temperature to use even in cooler days. The village was very pretty with 2 good restaurants within an easy walk. Would highly recommend.

Le Clos Du Paradis was a wonderful place to stay. The gite had everything we needed for a couple. A wonderful patio with views of the pool which great to use on hot days. Vicky and Anthony were wonderful hosts and very helpful with suggestions of places to visit. The village of Daglan was so pretty with 2 restaurants, a shop and boulangerie. It was lovely to walk through the village and by the river. It was in an amazing location within 20 - 30 minutes of Sarlat-la-Caneda, Beynac, Domme, Monpazier, Castelnaus-la-Chapelle, La Roque-Gageac, the Dordogne River and many more lovely places to visit.

Wir haben die Zeit in der Ferienwohnung genossen, besonders die Terrasse mit Blick auf den herrlichen Garten und den Pool. Vicky war immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Daglan ist der perfekte Ausgangsort für Touren in die wunderschöne Dordogne.

Gemütliche, gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mitten im schönen Dorf Daglan, ruhig auf dem großen, abgeschlossenen Grundstück der Besitzer gelegen, schöner Pool. Die Gastgeber Vicky und Anthony sind sehr nett, immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Bäcker, kleiner Lebensmittelladen, Sonntagsmarkt) und Restaurants im Ort. Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen, tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der näheren Umgebung. Wir haben uns, trotz des untypischen Regenwetters, wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank Vicky und Anthony!

We had a lovely 10 days in the apartment. It’s actually bigger than it looks in the photos and is a perfect size for two people. Facilities are excellent. Swimming pool was a lovely temperature. Daglan itself is lovely and the fact that you can walk for a drink or for a meal in such a small village was the icing on the cake. All round excellent.

Clos du Paradis was a perfect base to explore the Dordogne region, whilst also being a delightful place to return to for some relaxing time around the pool. Equipped with everything we needed, including a BBQ, and with an extremely comfortable bed, we would happily return. Vicky and Anthony were the perfect hosts. Three good restaurants in the village, plus a boulangerie and mini supermarket.

A perfect break for 10 days. Daglan is a wonderful friendly village with all the amenities needed for our stay. A superb Gite and the pool was heaven. Our hosts were great fun. The Dordogne was new to us.The region and its architecture with medieval history was incomparable. Much of it on our doorstep. Cycling, walking canoeing or just chilling. Its all there. We never go back to the same place twice. However, this one is a must for us. Next time we will fly to Bergerac and hire a car instead of driving from the UK.

We had a wonderful trip to Daglan and Le Clos du Paradis. The property is well located in the centre of the village and was easy to find. The gite was immaculate and well laid out. We did have a minor issue the first day there, but this was sorted super quick! We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace, refreshing dips in the pool and the gite was a great base from which to explore. It was nice to explore during the day and then have 3 restaurants within walking distance to enjoy supper and the requisite French wine, without having to drive. Overall a great holiday and hope to visit again soon!

Fabulous stay in the beautiful village of Daglan. Amenities close by including a supermarket, bakery, two restaurants and Tourist office. The Gite was charming with everything you need for a perfect staying including the pool. Cannot thank Vicky and Anthony enough for making us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful stay of four days at Le Clos du Paradis. The gite was spotlessly clean and well-equipped and well-furnished. Very nice linens on a comfortable bed. Sometimes in life you are lucky and you find a little gem. This beautiful old house, set in the heart of Daglan, was the ideal property for our week's break. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, complete with pool etc. Vicky and Anthony were the most hospitable hosts you could wish for, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning, hopefully before too long.
