The modern open plan accommodation is situated in a lovely rural village, close to the very French village of Benest.
The open plan accommodation is conveniently all on one ground floor and has wonderful open views of the garden and fields, the wildlife and surrounding countryside. Your stay provides a well equipped home from home for relaxation and time out to enjoy yourselves.
There are 3 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen size bed, storage, an en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The second bedroom has a double bed, storage and access to a walk-in wet room. The third bedroom has a single bed, storage and access to the walk-in wet room.
The large and well equipped, open-plan kitchen and dining room has a range cooker, fridge freezer, dryer, and access to a utility room and washing machine. The dining area leads directly off the kitchen comfortably seating four people. The sitting room has two seating areas, with large windows overlooking the countryside and gardens. The sitting room opens out on to a wonderful sun decking area, for alfresco dining, sunbathing, relaxing in privacy and enjoying the wonderful countryside. A gravel garden surrounds the sun deck and allows access to the large garden surrounding the house.
Outside there is parking and secure storage for bicycles.
Explore and enjoy the countryside where there are miles of pathways, tracks and lanes to walk, cycle and horse ride.
Nearby, are hidden gem villages such as Nanteuil en Vallee, Verteuil-sur-Charente, with cafes, tea rooms, restaurants, shops, castles, chateaux, lakes and beaches. Local activities include fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing and horse riding. Further afield are old towns and history to discover; Cognac and the cognac distilleries, river cruises, traditional markets in St Junien and Rouillac, old town ramparts in Angouleme, fishing in Availles-Limouzine, swimming in Lacs de Charente. Motor sports also take place at Circuit de Vienne, Angouleme.
The area is unspoilt and the dark skies are super for start gazing, and the local Astronomy Centre, Astrofarm is nearby in Confolens.
