Chalets à Belper

« The staff were very helpful and nice, the bed and bedding were decent, as was the breakfast. Unfortunately it's on the main Derby road (A6) in Milford which is a couple of miles away from Belper centre. The room was incredibly hot due to the recent weather (naturally) but the window in room 3 has no means of keeping it open as the window stay bracket has broken. A fan was provided but made little difference. The toilet seat is also broken. »

« One thing marks down the property. Breakfast was not complete. We went for dinner at the White Hart and they had gluten free cereals. I had to ask for orange juice at breakfast. Also, we came back at 22:50 on a Friday night and asked for a beer. We were refused but another resident was served beer. There doesn’t seem to be consistency on food menus or services across the group pubs. »

« The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more. Our day always started with an excellent and leisurely breakfast which really set us up...

« As a returning guest, it was a pleasure to come back again to the Sunshine Apartment. The owners and the team that run the accommodation are so kind and wish for you to have a perfect stay. The apartment is in a lovely area. I particularly enjoy the two big smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom when staying. The powerful hot shower. The peacefulness of the isolated apartment gives you maximum chance to relax. I look forward to returning once again in the future. »
