Villa Jelka, spacious villa with pool and breathtaking sea views from all rooms

Ideally located between the buzzing medieval Old Town of Budva and the famous picturesque Sveti Stefan. Nestled up against the mountain side, just 10-15 min walk from the sandy Becici beach, the villa offers the best of both worlds: peaceful breathtaking panoramic views of the bay and the surrounding mountains while at the same time just a stroll away from lively cafes and restaurants. In close proximity, are two 5 star hotels where one can indulge in gourmet cuisine and be pampered in luxury spas. A great family holiday spot, that is particularly child friendly.
The villa has been renovated in 2007, mostly using natural materials, stone and wood throughout, capturing the most of the beautiful surroundings and magical light. It is fully equipped and tastefully furnished. The house is very spacious (430m?) with three huge terraces on each level with uninterrupted water views. Just above the house, you can enjoy beautiful hikes in the mountain with captivating views and pristine nature


Further details: Close to the house (about 300m) there are two small convenience shops for your daily needs, but we recommend great food market in Budva, where you can buy lots of organic products sourced from local farmers.
Becici, Sveti Stefan and Budva have banks, medical centres and tourist information centres, as well as dozens of coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The best night-life is found in Budva.
Close to the house there are two 5 star hotels that provide luxurious spas for your pampering and indulgence.
The Adriatic is regarded as one of the world's clearest seas, so indulge in scuba or snorkelling.

Travel: Tivat Airport is about 25 km away, Podgorica airport 50 km and Dubrovnik Airport about 120 km away.
Flights from the UK to Dubrovnik are frequent (try Thomsonfly, Flybe, Ba and Croatiaairlines). Summer flights to Tivat from Heathrow and other European airports are ideal given proximity to villa (check BA, JAT, Montenegro airways).
Port of Bar is 38 km away. The last 100m of the road to the house is a dirt road that is awaiting renovations by the municipality before the summer season. Car hire is recommended. Many cheap internet car rental offers are available.


Distances: All the major sights of coastal Montenegro are within easy driving distance: Budva, Sveti Stefan, Petrovac, Prcanj, Kotor, Perast, Herceg Novi, etc.
The ancient capital of Cetinje can be reached in just over an hour by taking the breathtaking, hairpin mountain road.
Skadar Lake is less than 30km away from the villa.
The mountainous interior of Montenegro is worth at least a one-day excursion to explore amongst others Ostrog Monastery, Tara Canyon (the 2nd deepest in the world), Durmitor National Park,...

Perfect holiday home

We stayed with 8 friends, the house is very spacious and clean with a wonderful pool. Communication was fast and very helpful. We would highly recommand this place, especially if you are looking for a more quiet and nice place to enjoy the company you are with.

Top villa!

Wij verbleven met 8 mannen van rond de 35 j een week in deze villa. We hadden hier een zalige tijd. De villa is echt zoals op de foto's. Enig minpuntje waren de nogal lichte gordijnen waardoor het morgens rap licht was. Huisbaas was ook heel aangenaam en behulpzaam. Zeker aan te raden! Jonas, Waarloos

Amazing property

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Villa Jelka. The views were spectacular and we were fortunate to see great sunsets from the decks. The check-in and check-out were facilitated by Jovo, who met us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed and met us again to pick up the keys when we departed (despite the fact that it was early on a Saturday morning). He also gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations. The nearby beach is long -- a great place for a lovely walk. The Villa was perfect for us to gather together or spread out, depending on what we were doing. There is even a small waterfall just over the hill if one wants a short walk, and the pool on the property is lovely. We were very happy to spend our first visit to Montenegro at this amazing property!

Wonderful villa

The villa lived up to the description. It was large and spacious for a family of 8. The roof terrace was a great place to sunbathe and eat in the evenings. The pool was great for playing and swimming. The beds were comfy. The villa was very well equipped. I took Nespresso capsules to use in the machine as advised. All communication between the owner and in country property manager was seamless.

Family villa

We stayed here as 2 families of 4. Communication from the outset was fantastic, it was prompt and answered any queries we had. Jovan, the property manager could not do enough for us, anything we requested, including an air conditioning unit in 1 of the bedrooms where the air conditioning was broke. Great location, close to Becici but there was quite a hill up to property from the town. We hired cars so sometimes had a lift up the hill, especially during the day when it was hot! Altogether a fantastic break, superb villa and pool. Would definitely come again.

Wonderful stay in this beautiful villa.

We had a super 10 days staying at Villa Jelka. So spacious and has amazing views over Becici, Budva and Sveti Nikola island. It’s a beautiful coast line with stunning scenery. Very nice house with lovely view

The house is very spacious for a big group, the pool is great. Very steep hill, so a difficult walk in the heat. However, an easy taxi in to Budva. Jovan, the property manager provides great support and information.

Great stay at Villa Jelka

We were two Norwegian families with kids aged 10 and 14 that spent a week together at lovely Villa Jelka. The house worked really well for us, enough space for 8 people to live together without getting crowded. We used the pool and the different outdoor areas a lot and the rooftop terrace was really nice to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset. I would recommend that you have a car during your stay, it’s not easy to get around without one. Jovan, the property manager, was really helpful and can help with all practical matters from what taxi company to choose and arrange boat trips.

Excellent familiy holiday

Villa Jelka is a beautiful place: Large and tasteful rooms, great terraces, a nice pool, plenty of everything you need in the kitchen. Communication with the owner and the property manager was always pleasant and the hand-over at check-in / check-out was super-smooth. We enjoyed being a bit off the town in a quiet area but still in walking distance to the beach and restaurants (and a wonderful little waterfall). We highly recommend Villa Jelka!!

Becici Villa holiday

This is a large villa with three large balconies with beautiful views of the sea and a pool. It is well equipped with plenty of loungers and comfortable outdoor seating. It is on the hillside above Becici and a car is essential. A car is desirable in any case to reach the many excellent beaches within a short drive. We particularly enjoyed Sveti Stefan, Przno and Budva old town.

Fabulous house above the bustle of the Budva Riviera

The villa is reached by climbing uphill and inland from the busy road that runs through the Budva riviera, yet once you arrive at the house, all is calm and peaceful. The house is on three floors, all with a terrace where you can sit, relax and enjoy the view. The swimming pool is delightful, although there is no shallow end or step. The local manager, Jovan, could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble and everything worked well, including the vital air conditioning and wifi. A perfect base for a relaxing getaway - close to all the facilities, but tranquil and not disturbed by it

What an amazing villa

What an amazing villa. We loved every evening on the roof terrace, looking out over Budva and Becici & taking in the sights. The villa had loads of space for the 8 of us and each evening we’d find we gradually migrated a floor up as the sun set. Think we only utilised half of what the property had to offer. Jovan, the property manager, couldn’t have done more to make our stay fabulous. Lots of beaches nearby to meet everyone’s tastes and things to do.

Opphold i Villa Jelka

Vi hadde et fint opphold i Villa Jelka. Boligen og servicen stor til forventningene - meget bra. Det eneste vi kan notere som ikke var så positivt var den lange bratte bakken opp til huset, men når vi først kom opp var det flott å ligge høyt med utsikt. Dette kan anbefales til andre. Takk for oss.

Wonderful villa and location

The booking of the villa couldn’t have been easier. Whilst on holiday we well looked after by Jovan who couldn’t have been more helpful. The house comfortably slept both our families and provides numerous options/ balconies for dining outside. It was a lovely introduction to Montenegro with so many wonderful beaches and coves a short distance away.

A perfect stay!

We were a group of 8 and the villa felt massive for us! it is an amazing space and we loved every part of our time in the villa and Montenegro. It is perfect as a base to explore Montenegro and Kotor if you can bring yourself to leave the villa. The pool is an ideal size and there are so many places to sit and relax in the sun between all of the terraces you will never get bored. All together a 5 star villa, would highly recommend to anybody!
