"Warm welcome in a picturesque hotel. Personnel was very friendly, spoke English and Dutch.
The room itself was very nice. Bathroom was small, but we knew from pictures in advance. The room was clean and the bed was very good. The only real negative was the lack of airco (which we also knew in advance).
Breakfast was very good. Products were high quality and tasteful. It’s not a gigantic buffet, as in large hotels, but that’s also fine. It’s quality over quantity. You can sit outside and enjoy the meal.
There is no lunch or dinner, which is a negative because the village has little quality eating establishments. Most of them are fries and burgers, or mussels. If that’s not your thing, you are obliged to go to Bayeux.
The pool is also very nice. There could be a bit more beds next to the pool, when it’s good weather they are all taken. There is also a cosy bar, where you can drink something and relax. A tip is to hire somebody for the bar or keep somebody on it for the whole night. It felt like we always needed to call for somebody and the bar was often unoccupied.
Overall we had a great stay and would love to come again."
