'Everything was really good with our stay at Walhampton Arms last night! We were welcomed when we arrived to check in! We ate our dinner in the restaurant (I really like the small portions available for people like us who have smaller appetites) and breakfast was brilliant this morning! 'All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. Showed us around and explained how things are done with the bar, breakfast etc. even introducing us to their pet, Lionel the parrot. We were given a choice of 2 rooms to pick from. 'Dit hotel heb ik (reisagent) geboekt als 5 sterren accomodatie. Het blijkt een 5 sterrenkeuken/restaurant te zijn met kamers. De hotelkamers doen ze er een beetje bij, als restaurantgasten willen blijven slapen, na hun diner. Er is ook geen aparte receptie, maar meteen bij de ingang een desk waar de restaurantgasten zich melden. Buitenkant en omgeving van hotel stelt erg teleur, verouderd, wordt nu wel geschilderd.
