'Unfortunately, our room was in the sub basement, which was very damp. There were no washcloths available in the bathroom and there were no trashcan liner so we couldn’t even use the trash cans. Unfortunate because it’s a beautiful building.'

'I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

'Really close to Silver Parking at the airport. Quiet room, very well laid out. Only recommendation would be to add a grab bar in the wet room - the whole floor was wet after my shower which meant that using the loo and handbasin, the floor was slippery. Otherwise can't fault it and will definitely use again'

'The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!'

'Stayed at the Fox and Goose for 5 days. Looked after by the staff at all times. Very comfortable room which was serviced daily. The food was excellent with good sized meals which were served by very pleasant staff. Will definitely stay there again.'
