The Old Well Inn
Smaakvol ingerichte kamer, badkamer oud en niet schoon. Bed kapot. Jammer, want de kamer is ruim en de mensen heel behulpzaam. Barnard castle is zeker de moeite waard.

High Force Hotel
Breakfast and our evening meal were very good, service pretty quick. Our dog was allowed in all areas if I remember correctly. There was not much parking directly outside and it seemed that visitors for High Force used it so that they didn't have to pay for parking! I believe the receptionist said ...

The Bothy-Detached cottage,1 mile from Barnard Castle, Pet Friendly, EV Charger
Cottage was lovely, clean and had everything we needed, the only thing we found was the double bed was too small for us, didnt have a great sleep, so moved into the other room the 2nd night. Location was good, 20 mins walk to nearest pub.

Orton Hall, Royalist Suite
Host was excellent with communication. We had an issue with one of the pull out single beds which was resolved quickly by the host. Would definitely recommend and the access to the North Lakes Spa was a highlight for our trip!
