'We paid a budget price so were not expecting luxury, however there were lots of very basic issues with the house. The place was very musty on arrival and it seemed as if it hadn’t been opened up for a long time. The smell also pervaded the kitchen cupboards so I had to wash every item of crockery and cutlery before we could use it. Not that there was a lot of crockery - only side plates and tapas dishes. Only half of the toaster worked, there were many light fittings without bulbs, we had 4...

'Pros: Genoeg ruimte in en om het huis. Schoon en netjes, prettig om in te verblijven. Grote keukens, koelkasten, wasmachine etc. Enige wat wij niet gevonden hebben is een waterkoker voor de thee. Verder een prima accommodatie voor ons gezin met 10 volwassenen. Wil je naar Barcelona ? dan is het huren van een auto wel aan te raden.'

'This property was in pristine condition, and all rooms were comfortably furnished. In particular, the sunny terrace was a special treat to enjoy the outdoors and the views of the city and surrounding mountains. The kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied with all the necessities, and any communication from us was promptly answered. The neighborhood was very nice, with restaurants and stores in abundance. 'Pros: Hemos estado nuevamente en Can Gual porque nos había encantado la primera vez y hemos vuelto a pasarlo genial, descansando y a la vez entretenidos. Volveremos a recomendarlo por la excelente atención recibida.'

'Excellent accueil de la part de Mercedes qui est très sympathique. La maison est grande. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut. La climatisation dans la villa Julia est très appréciable après une journée de promenade. Pour aller à Barcelone : 5 minutes de voiture jusqu'à la gare puis le train jusqu'au centre-ville. Pas besoin de chercher un parking en ville, pas d'embouteillage ! De très bonnes vacances.'

'Pros: Wunderschöner Pool zum Schwimmen und Spielen für Schwimmer. Durch den Baumbestand auch jederzeit Schattenplätze. Schöne Aussicht auf das Meer und bis BARCELONA. Cons: Das Doppelstock Bett knarrte fürchterlich, die Klimaanlage war nicht steuerbar.'

'Pros: Het huis was proper, alles werkte heel goed, we hebben goed geslapen, de aangeboden handdoeken en lakens waren heel proper en zacht, ... Kortom de ideale vakantie! De eigenares was goed voorbereid en zeer vriendelijk.'
