'Lovely stay at Ardwell Bed and Breakfast. Una and Morton made us feel very welcome. Facilities in room were good and breakfast freshly made. Morton even gave us a lift along to the village in the stormy weather which we are so grateful for. Would definitely recommend staying here'

'Ruime kamer, goede bedden, goed ontbijt, goede prijs, vriendelijk en beleefde gastvrouw'

'Nice hotel. Restaurant & bar are very nice with decent food offerings and the staff were great. Very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean and really appreciated the extra touches like robe & slippers and room service. Decent coffee machine in the rooms too! Only thing I’d say is some of the rooms have a little dated decor, but are well equipped and clean with a comfortable bed and loads of little extras. So for the price & location… great value and definitely will stay...

'Room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good with excellent coffee'

'Very, very, very gooooood'

'B&B ligt aan drukke straat aan de rand van Ayr (niet te lopen). Geen ontvangst, maar notitie in hal. Ook later wordt je niet begroet. Kamer en badkamer ok. Goed ontbijt, maar eigenaren afstandelijk. Restaurants op 20 min wandelen in Prestwick.'

'Friendly and helpful staff and excellent food in restaurant. Nice Lochside location. Great location for visiting the nearby Dumfries House a short drive away.'

'We wanted to cancel as our 10-day sailing trip from Troon was cancelled. No one from the hotel nor Expedia was willing to help nor cooperate.'

'Hotel kamer was prima, wat krakende vloeren, maar ja, dat hoort erbij. Eten, ontbijt en diner is prima. Mooi punt om de omgeving te verkennen.'

'A good, clean, well-maintained hotel. Kind and helpful staff who were professional. Room was clean and well maintained. Free car parking on-site. Good food and very substantial breakfast.'

'Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.'

'Good stay'

'De prijs is erg hoog voor wat je krijgt. Ons bed was erg smal voor 2 personen en de kamer was klein. Lijkt erop dat deze kamer normaliter voor 1 persoon is want er hing ook maar 1 badjas. Duur betaald voor 1 nacht slapen. Ontbijt was goed'

'Front Desk and Wait Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and there was a wonderful dinner menu. We ordered starters and mains and all were exceptionally delicious!'

'Great location, walking distance to everything. Spacious studio, modern and clean.'
