'Omwille van de special olympics Latijns Amerika waren we in Asuncion. Er is daar weinig tot niets te zien. Het feit dat je dan in een hotel bent met iets meer luxe maakt je verblijf aangenamer. Het hotel is netjes en alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Het ontbijt is prima met keuze genoeg maar het is elke dag hetzelfde. De kamer was prima. Het bed werd elke dag opgemaakt maar de badkamer werd niet naar behoren gepoetst. Verder is het personeel vriendelijk maar voor alles wat je vraagt moet je...

'It was once 5 stars. Now is up to 4 OK. Room and breakfast fine. On their website they offer a welcome drink and free shuttle airport. But that is not true. Very rundown and unsafe neighborhood. You get much more value for money in the newer district of Asuncion.'

'Het hotel zou gebaat zijn met een opknapbeurt. In potentie een mooi hote qua architectuur en locatie maar kamers en faciliteiten zijn in minder goede staat en erg verouderd. Prima zwembad, middelmatige fitness. Goed ontbijt. Hotel is op de centraalste plek in het oude centrum van Asuncion. Grootste minpunt is dat de kamers niet heel schoon worden gehouden.'

'I had a great stay at Hotel Amalfi! The location was perfect—central and safe, which made it easy to explore La Paz on foot. 'Central location which served as great base to explore city. Great facilities on offer with varied breakfast and very helpful staff throughout hotel. We had a few issues with maintenance during our stay but these were resolved in a very timely manner. A little upgrading possibly required as some furnishings a little tired however this did not detract from our stay and we’d definitely recommend. '
