'We paid a budget price so were not expecting luxury, however there were lots of very basic issues with the house. The place was very musty on arrival and it seemed as if it hadn’t been opened up for a long time. The smell also pervaded the kitchen cupboards so I had to wash every item of crockery and cutlery before we could use it. Not that there was a lot of crockery - only side plates and tapas dishes. Only half of the toaster worked, there were many light fittings without bulbs, we had 4...

'Great location, great little apartment, and fantastic host! I would definitely recommend this stay. The street is quiet and surrounded by wonderful shops and restaurants. It’s very close to just about everything via walking or by metro. The house itself is a lovely and cute apartment perfect for two. Maria was wonderful and helpful throughout the whole process and the team even provided an amazing map of prime locations for those new to Barcelona. Overall 1000/10'
