'Overall, a decent hotel but nothing really exceptional about it. Clean room with a small balcony. Lighting was so dim in the bathroom it was hard to see. Only one chair in the room. Access into and out of the property a little difficult. Parking lot very tight. Lots of original artwork decorating the walls.'

'We have been coming here for 15 years. They really need to update the workout room, the machines are old and not working. The bathroom showers still need grout cleaning and I told the front desk. Paid $370 for waterfront room for one night. They do allow you to go on the lake early upon arrival while you wait for the room. The kids love stopping here before we spend the week in saranac. It's a great hotel but definitely can use some updating in certain areas. The landscaping by the pool area...

'The place is nice and was much bigger than expected. It was also really quiet which I appreciated because I am a very poor sleeper. At some point, as I'm sure the owner knows, he will need to recaulk the bathtub in room 3. Also, for $300 a night I would have expected better coffee and creamer that wasn't frozen solid. Just sayin'...'

'Breakfast was horrible, I went mid hour during the breakfast time and items like bread, muffins were over and they had no refills.. amenities ice hockey table was out of order, pool was not operational, parking was a problem.. bar was closed for the event for a day.'
