« This was a fantastic house for our group of six to occupy for a week of skiing. Close enough where you could walk to town. And close enough to hit several ski resorts in under 30 min. House was clean, comfortable and well maintained. »

« Constructive criticism: we couldn't find a remote control that worked on the tv, bring your own Roku like we did, and you're fine. The pots and pans should be in better shape than they are. How about a decent broom and dust pan that we can use. Minor stuff about using someone else's house. 5 stars, we'll rent this house again. »

« The property is tucked back in the oak filled town of Newcastle. As you drive up the gated drive you will see the horses, donkeys, and a sheep grazing in the pasture. The bunkhouse is a one bedroom, one bath house which includes a nice kitchen. This immaculate little house is connected to a likewise immaculate stable area. The owner's ranch dog stopped by to say hello and we saw a couple of the barn cats lazing in the sun. There is a lovely shaded area next to the bunkhouse with an outdoor...

« Home was in a great location, just roughly half a mile from kings beach with a grocery store right next door and water access to the lake at the end of the road. Home was clean and had much more beds and space than the photos appeared to. We do not regret booking and plan to book again for our next visit to Tahoe. »

« This is a beautiful home. The builders put more window than wall wherever possible and there are lovely views in all directions. Looking through the trees at the valley below from the deck was especially nice. Lot's of privacy and space with a tall fence with only visible neighbor. House was well stocked- did all our meals there and found everything we needed. Seems like they've added things to the kitchen since earlier reviews. Spotlessly clean. Host replied quickly when I had trouble...

« They removed the control module from the water heater. I presume this is to prevent guests from adjusting the temperature so they can save a few bucks. No one responded until the next day - only to tell me that it was going to be 2+ weeks before they could fix it! They offered to move us, but we that would have required us to cancel the activity we signed up for and lose our deposit... There was no toilet paper or trash bags. A big deal because they will fine you $100 if the trash isn't bagged...
