Geweldig voor kort verblijf

Vriendelijk personeel, Engels heel goed. Kamers zijn ruim en luxe. Zwembad met zoutwater is mooi en groot. Privestrand is meer een kinderstrandje. Eten en drinken erg duur tenminste vergeleken met een 4 sterren hotel. Maar bij de keus van een 5 sterren hotel zou dit geen hindernis moeten zijn.

Prachtig hotel met fenominale setting

Prachtig hotel met fenominale ligging aan mooie baai. Dicht bij bezienswaardigehden van Athene (20 km en erg gemakkelijk te bereiken) en luchthaven. Goede service en perfecte kamers. Uitzicht vanaf terassen is prachtig. Alle kamers zijn zeezicht. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is in orde. Uitstekende restuarant on site. Prijs van drankjes in hotel zijn ver boven de norm voor dit gebeid. Echt te duur en niet in verhouding. Wij hadden een duurdere kamer op de executive floor geboekt tegen een niet geringe meerprijs. het enige voordeel hiervan was een hoger gelegen kamer maar voor de rest geen enkel voordeel. Dat zou ik dus niet boeken, want dat heeft geen meerwaarde en behoeft dus ook niet te worden betaald. Volgens hotel zou dan het uitzicht beter zijn, maar alle kamers hebben hetzelfde uitzicht. Geen noemenswaardig strand maar prima zwembad direct aan zee met ook ingang in zee direct van een groot betonnen terras. Ook voor de standgangers een perfecte mogelijheid, echter geen zand aan de voeten.

Very comfortable hotel with magnificent views

The one thing you'll definitely remember of the hotel it's the breath-taking views of the sea from any spot of the hotel. It just makes you happy and relaxed. Second thing would be the big super comfortable very neat rooms (each with sea view). Furthermore, I found the breakfast, buffet lunch and spa treatments very pleasant and good quality. I would not recommend having dinner at the hotel though. There are 3 restaurants on the territory; I've tried only 2 as I lost hope after the second one. Surprisingly after such tasteful breakfast and lunch the dinner food wasn't of the 5-star hotel quality at all. So I would recommend going for dinner outside of the hotel. The service of the hotel was very good at one point and disappointing at the other, but in general I would say service at reception was good but not as friendly as you'd expect, cleaning of the rooms was poor, as I constantly found my room almost in the same state as I left it and with no new towels or shampoo etc. I found the service in the restaurants also quite poor as I had to ask for everything at least twice, but I'm sure they were tryig their best as everyone seemed very friendly and eager to help in theory. All in all, even though the service was a bit disappointing, it is a wonderful hotel, extremely comfortable, very relaxing. The condition of the hotel I would even mark with 5+

This was our 5th anniversary. In the same place. So it was an very special occasion on this very special place. It was very special for us, but I am sure it will be for many!

Bästa läget med direktaccess till stranden, vackra vyer, underbart kristallklart vatten. Rummen var slitna, hotellpersonalen var trötta. Pris på mat och dryck var rena rånet så vi slapp alla charterbananer vilket var skönt

Incredible sea setting of excellent resort hotel

Beautiful architecture in amazing setting of fresh and sea water pools and natural sea coves. Excellent large size room, well furnished, and outstanding bath.

Not Westin beds or pillows

First the room we had was awesome because it was near the pool and on the first floor with direct access to the pool. However the room and hall stank to high heaven. The beds were awful- rocks and very little bedding. Everything was WAY overpriced. Drinks were 18 euros. We had just stayed in Santorini at the most amazing places where food and Anne iTunes were priced super affordably.

Great for a few days!

The Westin was fabulous the beach/pool area were great loved the cabanas. Food was super expensive. You still had to pay extra for the kids club you would think for what you pay it will be included. Although the rates we're not that much surprisingly. But for a small bottle of water 5.50E is ridiculous. Will I stay again probably for a rest in between islands.

Would not go back

Room was absolutely filthy - sheets, carpet, shower were all very dirty. There was food in the mini bar which had been half-eaten. The hotel did nothing to compensate us for this. The hotel's only redeeming quality is its location.

Peut mieux faire

Le site est superbe et l'hôtel est bien conçu, doté d'équipements très confortables : grande chambre, salle de bain très agréable, vue remarquable, piscine, plage... Mais il manque vraiment de charme, ressemblant plus à un hôtel business qu'à un hôtel de loisirs. Le point le plus décevant est le service, aimable à la réception mais faible ailleurs, notamment à la piscine. Par ailleurs, pour sa catégorie, l'hôtel souffre d'un certain manque de générosité : l'eau minérale et le wifi sont payants tandis que les serviettes de plage ou les produits de toilette doivent être réclamés (avec insistance...).

Great location/NOT worth the $/VERY OUTDATED

Stayed two nights following 2 weeks sailing around the Islands before returning home to Virginia. Hotel is in a GREAT location as it is close to the downtown sights, Glyfada beaches and clubs and best of all a straight shot to the airport. That being said, this hotel is grossly overpriced as it is outdated, the staff at the front desk was extremely unhelpful with everything from wireless internet connection to directions to travel assistance - Concierge the worst! Asked for airline info and he didn't follow up or leave info for next shift. The property itself is in serious need of a refresh and the rooms are dated and smell old. Our AC wasn't working and when we called to request engineering we found out why. The vent was completely clogged and the filter was black. When I tried to take a picture the engineer quickly left the room. Recommend you find another place or use the Sofitel by the airport.

Jewel in need of restoration

This hotel is a family favorite and is located in the best part of the Athenian Riviera. We know many of the staff, and it feels like home. Having said that, this year, in particular, we noted that the hotel's condition is neglected, and the Astir's fourth floor hallway smells of sewage, in spite of the fragrance machine positioned in the hallway. The outdoor pool cabanas are in need of new drapes, and the pool pavers are chipped and in need of grout. The gym is laughable, but, fortunately, we were able to use the Arion's excellent gym and spa facilities. Basically, the Astir urgently needs care and attentive management to restore this jewel of a property.

Nice hotel on outskirts of Athens

Beautiful views of the sea and large beautiful room. Corridors have a moldy odor. 40 mins drive from central Athens. Probably the nicest hotel on Athens. Food is expensive but I would highly recommend the Nobu restaurant.
