Perched on a wooded ridgetop, this spacious, Amish built cabin is the ideal place to sit back and relax. With a large covered porch on the front, overlooking the hillside and hills beyond, the scenery is sure to inspire.
This cabin is also at the epicenter of the Hocking Hills region and all that it has to offer!

Everything was clean and comfortable, we had a fun stay and enjoyed using the hot tub, fire pit and charcoal grill. Unfortunately we had to buy our own dish soap and dishwasher detergent as none were provided that we could find.

Cabin was a nice set up and had all necessities we were looking for. Only complaint was tv size for watching college football and bugs in all the lights. Besides that we enjoyed our stay and was reasonable drive to Ohio University.

We really enjoyed our stay, there was a little fenced in pet area right off the main floor bedroom which was perfect. The hot tub was warmed up and ready upon arrival, the deck was the best spot to relax and unwind. I would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for a great place to unplug and reconnect with friends and family!

Good overall. Some of the curtain rods need repair. Fenced yard does have some holes that smaller dogs can get through. One of ours managed to get out. Fortunately she didn’t venture far.

Nice cabin, good location. Had everything needed for the most part. A mop or swifter would have been nice to do a quick clean of floors especially since we had rainy weather. The dust pan for broom is worthless.

Moms and Kids Spring Break

We came to Nelsonville to check out Hocking Hills. We were happy with the cabin, especially the secluded property. The fenced in area was great for our dog. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the amenities made it feel like home. The only thing this group of moms would have liked was a better internet connection to keep the kids busy at night lol. Overall would recommend this cabin to others!

very big house, great amenities. only downfall is it's a very, very steep driveway. due to the weather i had to leave my car at the bottom. obviously no fault of the owner. but if you're going in the winter, make sure you have 4 when drive

First Impressions

The driveway is a little rough and would definitely have to have 4x4 in snow. The cabin itself was nice. I have never stayed in a rental that left used condiments, cheese in the refrigerator and opened cookies on the counter. The electricity went out and although Nick answered my call it would have been nice that he reach out to us seeing how he was in the know and we were not. The mattress' have no mattress protectors and the shower liner needs replaced.

OK place not safe residence

The overall stay at this place was acceptable, but unfortunately corners were cut in the construction of the building. We tried to reconcile this issue with the owner privately, but they would not make the issue correct. The handrail on the rear steps does not have a mid rail or adequate protection to keep small people or pets from falling. Unfortunately our dog fell approximately 6 ft down and required an emergency vet visit. Thankfully he is fine but this could've easily happened to our children. This is due to the negligence of the owner in following building code. It's impossible to know what other corners were cut. I wish we did not have to post this, and the owner would have made this right due to their negligence in following code. However we do want to make others aware of the safety issue at this place. Beware pet owners and parents. Because of the way this issue was handled we will be sure to never stay with Nine Pines Vacation Rentals again. ownersowners and parents.
