'Unit was clean but very dated and needs a complete overhaul. Staff were sick so never saw anyone. A instruction manual for the television would be a help as I could not get it to work and there was a program I specifically wanted to see. Other clients also could not get there tv to go. Heater was very efficient and shower was good but don’t turn tap on in kitchen while someone is in the shower. '

The term “Resort” is a little misleading however as for hotel accommodation, it is good. While a little dated, the Methven Resort has all that is needed for a comfortable stay. 'We were lucky enough to book this place last minute and so glad we did - it was amazing. Friendly hosts who provided a wonderful welcome basket of milk, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, crisps granola and bread which was a really thoughtful touch. 'The checking in was frustrating we arrive at one o’clock now one in office so came back at 2 o’clock now one there so phoned told she won’t be far. Half an hour later 4 customer waiting the lady finally arrived. Not a good look. There was 2 of us stay for 3 nights.
