'This is definitely an old historic home. It has not been extremely well maintained and could use some TLC and some updates. However we found it mostly comfortable and adequate for our 2 night stay as far as the sleeping and actual house was concerned. The house is gated and it's a good thing because it's located in what I would considered to be a not so safe neighborhood surrounded by run down apartment complexes and houses. 'Charmin and unique'

'The rooms and other appointments at the hotel were outstanding. The only concern was the early check out, which was 10:00 am. That meant for us we paid for a whole day and didn’t get 24 hours. We did ask for a late check out because I have a work call at 10;00 am, but was denied. '

'My welcome was fantastic! Great communication ahead of my stay and on the day of my arrival, excellent directions and advise on parking. I parked on the street within 200 feet from the entrance, easy walk. My room was on the 3rd floor - i liked going up the stairs, liked the eclectic decor of the lobby, colors of the stairs, the bannisters. The hotel is spotless, my room was sparkling clean, bedding, pillows - so luxuriously comfortable - very good quality linens. The coffee/tea/refrigerator...
