'A Balcony and breakfast was all I was looking for on a week long trip to Doha. The Staybridge was more than I expected. Full kitchen with laundry (including detergent). Staff were sweet. Breakfast was solid! Egg station! Just a really great & kind staff and property in a great location. I never had to deal with westbay/pearl traffic!! :-)'

'It was an alright hotel with a few nasty surprises/quirks: wifi was only free in the lobby and costs 50 QAR (13 Euro) per 24 hours in the rooms where one would of course usually use the internet. Then there is the swimming pool. Just when finished all work wanting to relax and enjoy the pool in the last daylight, it turns out to be ladies time. What a terrible way to receive international guests: separate and inconvenient times for men and women swimming. So glad this was only on business,...

'Nice located hotel, nearby the beach and various restaurants and has a gym with seaview. The rooms are not too big and not very soundproof, that is a minus. The breakfast buffet is extensive. It is sad and a shame to see guests overloading their plates and eating only a part. Maybe the hotel can charge a fee for not eating all the food, against unnecessary waste.'
