'Brilliant two nights at The Fig Tree Shanklin. Highly Recommend! First evening, after Dinner at The Steamer Inn down on the Shanklin Esplanade, we caught the lift back up from the Esplanade and walked to The Fig Tree to experience their Monday Open Mic Night which was good fun and we were given accompaniment instruments to join in the funas well as singing along. 'We cannot fault anything during our stay, hospitality was great every member of the team that we came across were friendly, courteous and helpful. Our room was really nice, clean & fresh, bed was comfortable too. Breakfast was good, lots of and freshly cooked. We also ate in the evenings and again a good variety, fresh and good value for money. 'We have stayed here before and again got a family room for 3 nights. This one was better than the last one. We did not stay here for breakfast and went to Morrisons instead. There is limited parking at the hotel and overnight parking on the roads available. Ok if you’re off out for the day, they supply towels and a little bar of soap each. You need to supply shampoo etc. very friendly staff'
