'When I first read reviews of Tamarind, the reviews were mixed. I decided to take a chance and we couldn’t have been happier. The room was spacious and clean. The location of our room was fantastic, I walked out with my coffee every morning and was greeted by the ocean. The pool was right there and my daughter loved that. The pool was large, overlooking the ocean and well maintained. The location was great. The staff were beyond wonderful. They were so friendly, welcoming and were eager to help...

'Check in was very easy, our rooms were ready upon arrival. The front desk receptionist (Veronica, I think was her name) was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, clean, and spacious. The bathroom was somewhat small but the overall space was nice. Having a microwave and refrigerator (mini) was so useful. The room was cold and the beds comfortable. I slept well every night of my stay. Breakfast is not included however, the restaurant is very cheap, delicious, and filling. Food...

'This is a great place with high speed internet, which I needed for my work. My only two complaints, which they can easily address are a) they should heat the hot tub, and b) they should have some sort of shower curtain available. The open concept/rainfall shower head concept is super cool and cool looking, but I like to have a bit of privacy just in case. 'Russ is great!'

'We got an oceanfront room with a beautiful view of ocean and and maybe 50ft walk to the beach. We enjoyed staff, food, and the amazing beach frontage that was all sand and coral! We snorkled everyday in front of hotel and saw lots of colorful fish, starfish and on our last full day we got to spend some time with a sea turtle passing through while snorkeling! We will be back to Sandcastle on the beach for sure!!'
