« The grounds and the rooms are absolutely beautiful and well kept. Mark and Rhonda are amazing hosts and you can feel the passion for serving their guests. Their head cook Josh created some amazing breakfasts that any food connoisseur would relish. But it did not stop there. « Although it is a good attempt to update an old motel right on the lake it is done on the cheap. They lack amenities that should be included for an accommodation at this price point. Broken outdoor chairs, lumpy and uncomfortable double beds, discarded fishing line laying about, goose poop everywhere. It needs more attention and upgrades to warrant the $150+ per night rates. I would not recommend. »

« Wonderfully maintained old world charming lodge (1920). Very private and quiet. Wonderful chef prepared multi course breakfast. Surrounded by beautiful grounds, shrubs, flowers, trees, and a fountain and waterfall out our window! Family owned and so friendly. Complementary snacks, drinks, coffee - very relaxing adults only place to stay! »

« The property was close to town. Which was good. The room lacked a garbage can, other than the tiny one in the bathroom. There were no hand towel holders, which would have been convenient. Also a handheld shower sprayer would be nice. The street noise was very loud. No place to walk the dog. »
