Fabulous location. Cute clean first floor, bright sunny and full of basics for us. Master suite with awesome shower/ tub. Bunk beds could use a ladder to get up top but kids managed Nice warmed pool was appreciated as weather was a bit cool.

Perfect House for Family

This home was absolutely wonderful for our family of 6. We have teenagers down to a toddler and the house accommodations were perfect. There was plenty of space for us to spread out yet still had common areas to all come together as well. The outdoor pool area was fantastic! And the location can’t be beat. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing family beach week

This house is so adorable and is in the perfect location. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The pool is large and the ping pong table was a hit. Very clean and comfortable. We’ll be back!

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home with an even more beautiful pool area. The location is great, with the beach and bay both a short walk away. It's just one block south of Pine Avenue. However, some furnishings need to be replaced. The rental company did replace the gross coffee pot and disgusting pots and pans. The stove is worn out with only one of the 2 large burners working. But the living room and family room furniture is not only dirty and stained, it's worn out and uncomfortable. I had back pain for a month. It has no support. There wasn't a comfortable place to sit and read a book or watch TV. Even the dining chairs were uncomfortable. We'd love to stay here next year, but would be reluctant unless that furniture is replaced.

January Vacation

This property is in a wonderful location! Super close to the beach and the walk was very enjoyable to beaches, shops and restaurants! The home is nicely decorated. The couches, appliances, and outdoor table and chairs need some TLC. One of the stovetop burners does not work and the dishwasher trays could use some fixing. The couch was not very comfortable and the kitchen utensils and cutlery were in poor condition. There were no hot pads as well. Overall this property is nice and the location makes up for it. The pool was super warm which was amazing for our kids because it was chilly out this time of year.

Nice house with a few issues

Villa Maria is a nice house. The location is convinient. It is close to the beach, restaurants, little stores and a lot of other places, plus the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet (although this time, there was a construction near by, that woke us up very early). Upon our arrival we were dissapointed to find a few issues: the house appeared clean but was not done so very well. Some of the kitchen items were dirty, the furniture in the main living room was dirty (stains and overall pretty worn out). The bed comforter in one of the rooms was stained. The mattress cover and the pillows were stained in another room, that should have been replaced. The outside shower was FULL of sand. The pool was dirty. Water was murky and the temperature on it was unpleasant, considering how hot it is, the water was cold enough to be enjoyable. The maintenance on it, was poor. On the house book, it said, the pool was given maintenance twice a week but noone showed up for it until a day before we were leaving. The pool guy told us that maintenance was given only once a week. He tried his best to make it pleasant for us but it was too late, we were already leaving the next day. This was a big dissapointment. We were hardly able to use the pool. In the kitchen one of the main burners did not work. Also, the ceiling fans inside the house were dirty and dust balls were under and behind the furniture all through the house. Overall, the house maintenance was poor.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay! Walking distance to a few beaches. Recommend renting a golfcart to get the full island experience. Loved the beach chairs and floats. Had a few logistical issues (one involved a stovetop burner that didn't work) but our issues were addressed very quickly. Comfortable beds. As an FYI to future renters, it seems to be a thing that all spices/leftover stuff is discarded. Just know you are starting from zero. No biggie, but good to know for those who like to cook. We would stay here again! Local ice cream delicious. Parasailing fun. Pool a wonderful cool down late in the evening. Outside shower was the best! Sad to leave. Kudos to the maintenance people that helped us. They were super nice and attentive. I highly recommend staying here. Want to give a shout out to Cheryl (?spelling) who was a huge help with logistics and questions.

Great Spring Break

Quiet neighborhood. Perfect location to walk to either side of the island. Beach was great! Pool was nice and my boys enjoyed taking a dip each day. Good restaurants within walking distance. If your looking for something more quiet than busy nightlife then look no further!

Best house - amazing pool!

We went to Villa Maria for a family vacation (kids 5 and 7). We had the best stay!!! The pool and backyard were incredible! The house was so pretty and clean. The neighborhood was awesome - peaceful and quiet. Lots is cute restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Every day we hit the beach in the morning and pool in the afternoon! Best vacation ever! Only complaint? No coffee filters!

First-timers to AMI. Loved IT!

Villa Maria is spacious and welcoming. The two living areas gave us plenty of space for our group (mom/dad and 4 adult 20somethings to spread out or enjoy gathering together. The pool area is private and secluded. Being at the north end of the island is a little quiet. Restaurants close pretty close early (stay was 1st week of May). The kids would have enjoyed some nightlife, but they could have caught the trolley heading south to find more going on if they wanted to venture out. The beach and bay are just a couple blocks away in either direction, so walking was no trouble at all. The kitchen was great, just missing oven mitts. The beaches here are breathtaking! And just curious…. Why does the powder-sugar sand never get hot?! Crazy! Thanks for a great stay!

Overall good

Very nice place but the family room sofa and chair were dirty and uncomfortable. Also a extra blanket in the bunk rm closest smelled and f strong urine. Other than that it was a nice place.

Beautiful, clean home with walking distance to the beach

Thank you so much for opening up this beautiful home for us to stay in. The house is just renovated, very tastefully done with clean lines, beachy feel, very comfortable. Perfect location, short walk to the beach, close to the shops and grocery stores. We just had a few small issues. We had a big black snake living in the pool area, which creeped us out every time we walk outside, it was there. But I guess it is a natural thing in warmer climate. The other issue we had is a hairdryer. We messaged the manager before the trip to make sure it was one in the house and when we got there, we couldn’t find it. We contacted them again and they said they will get one for us, but we never received it. Just small things, but something to address. Overall it is a beautiful house with a perfect location! Thank you!
