Extraordinary location right next to Bean Point Beach. Stayed there with 8 parents of 6 teenage girls for a lacrosse tournament, and the house was perfect for our group. The house shows a little wear, but it’s still a nice and comfortable space. The management company was very responsive and accommodating. Would stay here again.

Perfect Luxury Beach House for Our Team Building Retreat

Our team had an amazing stay at this property for our Annual Team Building Retreat. The location was near perfect—just steps away from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the stunning views and ocean breezes. The house itself was everything we expected and more. It truly lives up to its name as an impressive luxury home. The pool and spa were wonderful additions, providing a relaxing space to unwind after our activities. The customer service was also excellent, with the staff being helpful and responsive to our needs. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing getaway!

This place new complete renovations

From the second my family stepped foot in this property we were disappointed. First thing we noticed was a puddle of water in the kitchen from a leaking fridge. The second was our socks were completely black for walking through the house for a few minutes due to extremely dirty floors. One of the toilets were not bolted to the floor which I almost completely fell off off. Mildew in one of the showers. The place was dirty in every nuk and cranny. The grounds had random garbage littered trough them as well as dog poop next to the pool. Trip hazards EVERYWHERE!! My 4 year old tripped on a broken walk way paver which resulted in a late night ER visit due to a head injury and we were having a wedding two days later. So to have a forhead injury was really nice to have in the wedding photos. If i could upload pictures you would know everything in my review is true and the title would match. So from lights not working, TVs not working, broken outdated furniture, trash laying in the yard, to dog poop directly next to the pool. I must say this place should not be on the list of rental properties until some MAJOR renovations are completed.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of the property that I recently rented through your management company. I regret to say that this was the dirtiest vacation rental I have ever stayed in, and I was extremely disappointed with my overall experience. When we arrived at the property, it was immediately evident that the cleaning was subpar. While the general area of the house appeared to have been cleaned, it was clear that the cleaners had not thoroughly cleaned edges, nooks, and crannies, as dirt and grime were still visible. Additionally, there were limited supplies of essentials like towels and trash bags, which was frustrating. We decided not to complain right away because we did not want to ruin our vacation mood, but within a few hours, we had to call someone to clean the grill because it was so dirty that it caught on fire. This was a significant safety hazard, and it was evident that the grill had not been cleaned properly in a long time. Although I do not require cleaners to be sent out at this point since I only have a day left here on vacation, I strongly suggest that you consider telling your cleaners to do a better job or hire new ones. With the amount of money I paid, I expected a higher level of cleanliness and basic supplies. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this property to anyone, and I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and address these issues immediately to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Great location, property needs some work.

This was our first time to Anna Maria Island and we really enjoyed our time on the island. Positives about this house are that it had a lot of space for our group of 5 couples and the location was great. Super close to the beach and Pine Ave. However, the property definitely needs some updates. Although it was clean, the living room furniture was pretty dated and worn. There was actually an upholstered chair that was on an porch sitting in the rain when we arrived. I did alert the AMI team to this, but no one came to remove it. The pool was really large, but there is some sort of electrical problem and we struggled to get the hot tub to turn on. Although the people from AMI did call daily to see how the trip was going and ask if we needed anything and we did ask them to come out, no one showed up until Saturday afternoon (we were leaving on Sunday). He showed us how to work it, but when we went to turn it on later that evening all of the lights were blinking again and we couldn't get it on. One of the reasons we rented this house was for the hot tub and it was disappointing that we had so many problems with it. Lastly, all of the light bulbs need changed. There were so many lights that didn't work. I saw this on another review but it was before Hurricane Ian so I thought this items would have been addressed in the clean up. It was not. The place was pretty dark and the light switches looked like they were installed in the 80's. We could not figure out which switch went with what light. Also, we have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and they have always had some basic toiletries like soap, shampoo, conditioner, and kleenex in the bathrooms. This house had nothing. It would be nice to provide those to guests.

Grand Haven..not so grand

Anna Maria Island is beautiful. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with our accommodations at Grand Haven. Upon arrival, the house appeared like it hadn’t been cleaned; obvious examples included coffee drip stains on the floor in the kitchen, remnants of party streamers still stuck on the wall, and trash left over from the previous clients inside the house as well as outside on the decks and surrounding the pool. The worst was the master shower which had so much mildew and grime it was unusable. Of course I called AMI and sent them pictures. Thankfully, AMI was willing to send a cleaning crew back out. In the meantime, I walked around the house and noted more things in disrepair; curtains were ripped, furniture upholstery was torn and stained in many rooms, the plantation shutters in almost all rooms were broken, there was dust on the light fixtures, the vent and shelf above the stove was greasy, and what used to be a fountain in the middle of the house was not working and worse yet, had loose tiles and was a collector of dead bugs and dust. This is not what I expected to deal with when spending a lot of money for two weeks on a “luxury” rental. A cleaning crew came back to the house and was able to do a quick cleaning of the floors and attempted, yet failed, to clean the master shower. However, the other things I noted were considered “deep cleaning” and were not addressed. Shouldn’t all luxury rentals be deep cleaned before the arrival of the next client? AMI eventually informed the crew that they needed to clean the other things noted; however, the only extra thing they cleaned was the greasy vent. The master shower continued to be an issue. After a week, someone did come back and thoroughly scrub and bleach it to remove the mildew. Unfortunately, at this point I was completely mortified and embarrassed. Many of us were changing sheets because we had been there a week. One of my guests quietly approached me to say she had already cleaned her sheets earlier in the stay because her sheets were dirty upon arrival and the mattress pad underneath was also stained. That is the LAST thing a host wants to hear. AMI did come out and change ALL bedding in all the rooms after I let them know what I was told. Lastly, around this time the air conditioning in parts of the house went out. Yes, a repair man was sent, twice, but it did not get better. This house could be beautiful, but it is not being managed well.

Perfect Location!

Communication from hosts was great and check in/ check out was effortless. The location is so fabulous with easy walking distance beach access to the most gorgeous and quiet beach on the island, and a quiet residential surrounding when at the house. Pool and hot tub are wonderful and the landscaping makes everything feel private. The indoor living space is spacious and very functional for 3 families with comfortable bedrooms and a well stocked kitchen. The only thing that was a little hard, was that the bathrooms are not attached to any of the bedrooms, so all bathrooms are shared. Everything was very clean and we felt well-maintained although some minor updating could be done. The separate outdoor patio spaces around the house are also a wonderful escape. We would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Great Location and porches

A very large and beautiful home in a perfect location. Clean and nicely appointed. Plenty of kitchen items to cook with. Management company has great communications and checkin and check out was very easy. The only reasons I gave it a 4 star review is because of the descriptions of the ammenities are lacking, The hot tub was not heated because they don't heat it in the summer. Our stay was later in Sept and we had several rainy days which cooled things down a bit and it would have been nice to have the hot tub warm. Also there was very little soap, and no shampoo/cream rinse provided. Most all VRBO's we have ever stayed in provide the basics. I definitely would have expected it with this house. Lastly, they had many beach items (chairs, umbrella, wagon) available for use at the beach which was a plus, and they should have noted this in the description. Overall, it was a lovely stay and the house is very comfortable.

Great Family Vacation

We had a great time at Grand Haven! The beach is so beautiful at Bean Point. Not too many people in early March. We loved the beach access, too -- it's so close! The house itself is a perfect size for 2 families. Lots of steps but an elevator for those who need one. The pool and hot tub are great! The only drawbacks of the location are that restaurant wait times are 2+ hours every night, and we had a guest who got a parking ticket, which is unfortunate since there is parking for 6 on the property. She parked on the street and thought that was ok. It is not. As far as the house goes, the WiFi is not strong at all due to concrete walls. The lighting is unusual and complicated and yet the house is a bit dark still. There were not nearly enough provisions -- TP, Paper Towels, Soap, etc. upon arrival. Other than that, it was perfect! Thank you!!!

birthday week

I had family come to this Anna Maria rental for my husbands birthday.We rent a home twice a year on Anna Maria and this is hands down our favorite so far. I was concerned about only 3 bathrooms but it wasn't a problem at all.Love Love Love this house its in the perfect location.Everything you need to enjoy a vacation. I never rent the same house twice because its part of the fun going to the island twice a year. But in the future I will be seeing if this one is available it will be my first choice.

Amazing Time at Grande Haven

My friends and I had an amazing time at Grande Haven on Anna Maria Island. Everything about this property is “Grande”. The décor and entryway instantly make you feel like you’re not in a typical beach house. Each room has its own balcony to relax and read a book or enjoy the sounds of the beach. We absolutely loved that the main living space was on the top floor. The kitchen provided everything we needed to create our meals so we didn’t need to go out and spend a fortune at restaurants. We ate on the balconies off the living room and enjoyed the beach ambiance. Our favorite part about the house is that the BEST beach on the island is literally accessible right across the street! Bean Point is a little walk to get to the water, but that means it’s not crowded. I even walked out there to enjoy the stars and full moon and felt like I was on a deserted island. You won’t be disappointed staying at this property. Plus, AMI Locals team reached out to check on me while I was here which was wonderful - You won't be dissapointed staying here with friends &/or family.

Awesome property in a great location!

My wife and I loved this property! Unique architecture, definitely not a cookie cutter Anna Maria home. We love to cook, so the commercial appliances and second fridge in the butlers pantry really made our stay incredible. The pool area is gorgeous, great place to relax and read a book. Best of all, the nearest beach access is less then a block from the house. We are big fans of the beaches on the north end of the island and loved staying just a short walk away!
