« Great area for riding the twisties. Highway is close by as well as easy access to some of the best motorcycle rides in Eastern NC. Ideal location to explore all Franklin/Highlands/Maggie Valley, etc has to offer. The house has plenty of room for 3 couples on the main floor. More beds downstairs for larger groups. Plenty of seating in living room but we loved being in the sunroom enjoying the cabin-like feel.Our host was very accessible via text. We thank him for hosting us and our 2 dogs. »

« Our family (three generations) have stayed in many short-term rental properties over the last 20 years and this home, by far, was the cleanest one and I'm pretty picky. Not only was the home spotless, it was beautiful and welcoming. Our family from ages 10 though 78 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet and the home is secluded far enough away from the main area of the lake that their was very little boat traffic when we were using the kayaks and paddle boards. ...

« Aug 20 to Aug 24. The house was well suited for our group of four couples. The house had everything we needed. Loved the porch overlooking the lake and the dock. We rented a boat to see more of the lake. We will be reserving this house again for next year. »

We did the train ride through the mountains, white water rafting at NOC, tried (failed lol) fishing, and we were close enough to make a day trip to Pigeon Forge. The area is beautiful and so quiet.
