« We had a wonderful stay at Sierra Sacred Valley, it turned out to be the perfect choice to acclimatize to the high altitude. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, they were genuinely concerned about my altitude sickness (which wasn't that severe, but maybe I looked worse than I felt) and offered some remedies.
Luis told us all about the area, a lot you wouldn't get from tourist guides, and also took us on a lovely hike up the mountain behind us. The food in the restaurant was great,...

« AMAZING stay! The best and coolest place we have ever stayed on. If you are visiting Ollantaytambo you have to book this place for a night. Stunning views from the dome and I recommend early check in to enjoy the view.
We choose to not stay in the climbing domes and instead choose the top cupole dome which was a short walk to. It was not that expensive and so worth it. We fell asleep to a Thunderstorm meaning we could see lightning on the Victoria Mountain.
Everything went smooth with the...

« Staying at this hotel really is memorable! The views are breath taking. And breakfast outside with the alpacas! What a bonus!! WOW! We have nothing but good words about this place who wins to be discovered! »

« One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers. The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. The lodge is peaceful, quiet, and a short moto taxi ride from downtown. Lastly, two charming German sheapards make the lodge feel like a home away...

« This is a family ran lodge with plenty of character.
Rudy and Claudia are very helpful and attentive
The dogs, cat, llama and little rabbit are super friendly as well.
Perfect place to kick back and relax, it is a little tough to get in and out of there so plan accordingly.
The place is a little rough on the edges, but that is the exact appeal. Itâs a work in progress.
Walking distance from the Maras Salt Mines through a little village
Overall, Iâd come back and would recommend »

« The staff were super friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to cook us with delicious vegan food. Their potato soup and guacamole were incredibly delicious! They also helped us by driving us to the Salt Mines of Maras, Moray & Ollantaytambo for a reasonable price. They had warm water and good WiFi connection which isnât always the norm in Peru. Highly recommend if youâre in Urubamba. »

« There are very few places that can truly be rated 5 star. For us, five star means, beautiful grounds, peaceful, clean, and safe location, and helpful staff. During our stay, Kuychi Rumi earned this highest rated due to the fantastic rooms, room service, and their prompt manager Johan. He went above and beyond his call of duty to make sure we felt at home.
After all, how often do you get your refrigerator stocked the previous night just because you have to leave at 5 am the next morning? Most...
