'Everything was as advertised ,clean and functional. The host went out of her way to make sure that my experience was first class and it was. A big shout out to her neighbor who pitch hit for her When she hurt her leg. It’s very close to the train station maybe five minutes by car and it made the right into Douro very very easy.'

'Fomos acolhidos pela dona Arminda e o senhor Antonio, pessoas muito simpaticas. Fomos muito bem acolhidos. A casa onde nos ficamos se situava no rês do chao. Pois é uma casa onde pode haver outra reserva nas mesmas datas. Mas os espaços sao totalmente independentes. A casa é muito bem equipada, limpinha e fresquinha. Os equipamentos exteriores sao excelentes (piscina e churrasqueira 5 estrelas). O unico premonor que nos incomodou foi de estar um cao a solta que nao estava descrito na descriçao...

Fit, finish and cleanliness of the villa were all excellent, the gardens were immaculate and the pool was large enough for two teenage boys not to feel constrained. 'Our family spent a week at this property and we cannot say enough good things about it. The house itself was spotlessly clean, the pool and view was amazing and the house, including the kitchen, fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There was lots of room for everyone in our group and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a big plus. We didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay and would not hesitate to return again!'

'Uriges, tolles, sehr sauberes kleines Haus mit einem phänomenalen Blick auf den Duoro. Die Vermieterin Fátima war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Es blieb keine Anfrage unsererseits offen. Vielen Dank noch einmal für alles.'

'We hebben een hele fijne week gehad in een comfortabel en sfeervol huis. Royaal verblijf op groot perceel grond, prachtige bosrijke en zeer rustige omgeving. Douro ligt ongeveer 500 meter lager, vanuit huis niet zichtbaar. Van zwembad geen gebruik gemaakt, omdat het een behoorlijk stuk afdalen en klimmen was. Dourovallei is prachtig. Veel moois in de omgeving te zien. Auto is een must.'

'Na vele bochtige wegen is het aankomen bij Casa de Gondomil alsof je in het paradijs beland. De rust, het uitzicht en de natuur met al zijn bomenpracht, bloemen en vruchten maken het verblijf tot een perfecte vakantie. Het mooi gelegen zwembad biedt verkoeling zoals de eigenaren warmte uitstralen. Het huisje is een voorbeeld van goede architectuur met de juiste plaatselijke materialen en doordachte details. Kortom het is het moeten nemen van al die bochten meer dan waard. Een aanrader.'

'Nous remercions les propriétaires pour leur accueil chaleureux, leur bons conseils et leurs bouteilles de vin. La maison est idéalement située entre Porto et Guimarães et permet de visiter le Nord du Portugal et profiter de la côte pas loin. Elle possède tout le confort nécessaire pour une famille (même avec enfant en bas âge) et permet de se ressourcer au calme des vignes. Nous la recommandons vivement !'

'Groot authentiek huis met tuinen erom heen en een privézwembad. Het was hier heerlijk toeven met z'n zessen. Amarante dat in de buurt ligt heeft een verrassend leuk centrum en op een paar km afstand bevinden zich diverse goede supermarkten. Wij hebben genoten!'
