'Just got back from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Burburry hotel. The hosts Wendy and Steve made us feel so welcome, the breakfast was amazing, the room was clean and well decorated, they also had a honesty bar well stocked with wine spirits and a selection of beers and soft drinks, again a well decorated bar area and snug ,it felt very comfortable. 'Made to feel very welcome. Lovely fresh, clean room with a comfortable bed and good quality linen, which always aids a good night's sleep. Also huge bath towels which I love. The breakfast menu was very varied with fruit, cereals, juice etc to start, and a varied menu with plenty of choice for the main course, beautifully cooked. Would highly recommend. 'Schitterend authentiek gebouw, in prima staat in mooie omgeving. Aardige bediening, goed ontbijt. Wij hadden een kamer boven de keuken hetgeen luidruchtig was gedurende het gebruik ervan. Blijkbaar moet je vooraf parkeerruimte reserveren hetgeen ons onbekend was. Mooie pub met goed restaurant. '

'Big mention to Jane and Ollie who were so welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Room was quirky and lovely and quiet. Very peaceful. Very clean in rooms and in the pub itself. Lovely little town with lots of things to do in the area.'

'There is an enormous lack of maintenance for the building, estate, garden. Outside swimming pool. Only some rooms have been renovated. The floors in the hotel are uneven everywhere, so that the beds are standing skewly on the floor which causes a very bad and unhealthy nightrest. This hotelis not worththe money we paid: nearly 200 eur per night for 2 adults and 1 child. The personnel is very kind, always ready to help and doing everything they can to make customers satisfied. '
