« Villa Serenidad exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful home and the view is wonderful. We really liked watching the cows and calves next door and meeting Iggy the iguana. The people of Atenas and all of Costa Rica are welcoming and so helpful with those who are not at all fluent in Spanish! I don't think we ever had even close to a bad meal either! « The first impression of this very unique house was pure excitement. Loved the unusual layout and the perfect views from every angle. Lots of opportunities to see the Flora and Fauna that Costa Rica has to offer. Spent a lot of time on the Casita terrace to watch Motmot, Hummingbirds, Butterflies, and even a white faced monkey. « It’s true, the pictures do not do this justice! My husband and I spent 14 beautiful days at the Villa along with another couple. We were warmly greeted by the caretaker, Elias. If we needed anything, we communicated with him using WhatsApp. He even arranged for a Taxi to pick us up one evening so we could go out to dinner. « This House Is simple Amazing. The owners are perfect, there when you need but not disturbing. We went there 4 friends, nothing is missing, Even a milk froder. The view from the marvelous pool is awsome night and day. To do central part of Costa Rica it’s the best. We rent a car it was perfect. »

« Tout est conforme à ce qui était annoncé. Arturo et Maribel sont des hôtes très attentifs, chaleureux et bienveillants. La plage est belle mais la mer est très agitée, presque dangereuse à certains moments. La ville de Puntarenas est banale. Il vaut peut-être mieux louer une auto que de payer le gros prix pour des excursions. Somme toute nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille. »

« Jolie propriété avec superbe vue! Confortable pour 3 adultes mais a 4 quelqu'un doit dormir sur le sofa lit (qui n'est pas assez long pour un adulte mais parfait pour des enfants). « Gorgeous mountain location with beautifully done landscaping that attracts lots of butterflies and hummingbirds. If you love a gorgeous view this is the place to go. We even had a visit from a group of White Faced Capuchin including a mommy with tiny baby on her back. Due to our very late arrival we decided to have the owner make us a delicious breakfast and we were not disappointed. »

« Very clean loft, awesome views from the balcony/hot tub, very responsive host. Has everything you need with a convenient store and local restaurant just a couple minutes walk down the street, Poas Volcano/park nearby and the town of Poas 10 minute drive away (huge restaurant selection, gas stations, supermarket etc.). Can get windy as it's up on a hill so bring ear plugs or white noise app if you're a light sleeper »

Everything was close by (restaurants, supermarket, gas station) plus the neighborhood is pretty quiet which allowed us to disconnect and have the perfect family time.
