« This was a great place to get away with our kids. The dock, kayak and canoe made fishing a hit for our two little boys. We also loved cool nights in the hot tub overlooking the water. The stone pier a few feet down the road was also find for the kids to go fish from. Close restaurants and stores within 5-7 minutes made running errands easy. We also drive over to Vermont (bridge was minutes away) and enjoyed time there as well. Excellent layout of the home, loved the soaking tub and large shower...

« The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that. »

« Our son goes to UVM and felt like exploring the area beyond Burlington. This was the perfect location for us to make day trips to bike the Colchester Causeway, get fresh apple Cider, take walks by the lake and see Montreal. The cottage is cozy and cute with lots of thoughtful touches, including robes, slippers, toiletries, local snacks and more. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who our son no doubt missed more than us! Highly recommend! »

« We had such a great time in VT. Scott and Marilouise were super welcoming and answered all of our questions, while offering us with resources of things to do in the island. « We came to support our nephew in a professional fishing tournament on Lake Champlain. The cabin has beautiful views of the lake and is within 15 min of many restaurants. The cabin was so comfortable. One constructive criticism would be to put a tv in the queen bedroom downstairs. Only 1 of 3 bedrooms had tv in them, so 3 adults piled in our 75 year old moms bed to watch tv. We still had a great time. We will rent again! »

« Location on the lake is beautiful. Sort of far from st albans 15-30 mins drive and 30-35 to Burlington. We visited for a UVM graduation so went back and forth a lot. Overall house is large and spacious with some updated amenities like appliances. Master is beautiful but other rooms are tight. Road can be loud with cars at night. with some easy changes things would be more pleasant Upon arrival we immediately noticed that floors and windowsills were not swept and cleaned recently - which was...

« We had a great time in South Hero. Very nice place, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The property is very family and kid friendly with lots of games and even craft supplies for the rainy days. I would recommend it with no hesitation. »

« We stayed at this house with our married children and our grandchildren. Bev was always available to answer questions when I had them and very friendly. We had PLENTY of room for all of us. It had everything we could have needed and more. We cook alot and the kitchen has anything you could possibly need. We loved taking our kayaks out off the shore. The guys (and my grandaughter😊) caught ALOT of fish in the kayaks and off the dock. It was a favorite of any house we have rented and look forward...
