Top renovated apartment with a large terrace in the old town of Albufeira

The apartment Lieb is located in the pedestrian zone (center) of Albufeira and is on the 7th floor. From its balcony with approx. 20m2 you have a beautiful view of the old town of Albufeira. You only need a few minutes by foot to reach the beach (approx. 400m).

Like each of our apartments, this one also has satellite TV with all free German-language programs and Internet. Some of the rooms have air conditioning. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen and a large living room. From the living room and the bedroom you reach the large terrace. The living room has a sofa bed. The terrace is equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers and a grill. Apartment Lieb was completely renovated in 2020.


The apartment has approx. 60 m2; and counts with 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 living room and 1 bathroom. It is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults and 1 child.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was central to the old town and an easy walk to beaches and nature trails.The host and their agent were very helpful both before and during our stay. We would definitely stay there again if we get back to albufeira.

The comfort was immediate

i loved my neighborhood in Old Town Albufeira, Portugal. My space on Avenida de Liberdade was lovely and spacious with a magnificent terrace. Everything I needed was addressed quickly. I felt safe. I do however think that the building could have provided a better sense of security by better lighting. The lobby was very dark upon entering. The light switches were not close and the lights often went off before I got to it. The elevator went to the 5th floor and I had to then walk up to the 7th floor with the same light issues. The building was almost vacant - no visitors and few residents. That and the lighting made coming back late at night uncomfortable.

Good location

Overall this is a good property to explore Albufeira old town and surrounding areas. There is a restaurant at the building entrance that can be quite loud with music; however once in the property and on its beautiful terrace patio you can’t hear the street noises below. Well equipped and comfortable property, would stay there again.

Great Stay in Albufeira

We had a good stay in the condo. Everything was as advertised. The condo is very close to everything. You can grab groceries & try a different restaurant daily if you wanted. I would say our only disappointment was the German television. I know I know it’s just TV. But we always like to unwind for an hour or two!! I think all VRBO’s should just state German television, Spanish television etc.

Spacious property in Old Town Albufeira

The property is a great location to explore Old Town, it’s very spacious and comfortable, well decorated-if I had 1 complaint-unless I misread something it said elevator which was true, but it only goes to the 5th floor and the apartment is on the 7th floor-you still have to carry your bags up 2 flights of stairs. We loved the large terrace with a grill which we used twice. There are great restaurants just at street level and a Supermarket very close. This place is a great choice if you want to be in Old Town Albufeira

Great location! Lovely apartment!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Lieb apartment in the heart of old Albufeira in the pedestrian area. We were walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and the beach. The apartment is in a locked building and was just as described and more. The kitchen was well outfitted (even though with all the amazing restaurants the only “cooking” we did was coffee and yogurt in the morning) as well as had dish detergent, hand soap, laundry tablets, etc. The unit has an amazing balcony and is on the 7th floor so nice sunsets over town each nite. The elevator however only goes to the 5th floor so we wouldn’t recommend for those with mobility issues. We had a late train but we were met by Elizabeth who showed us around the apartment, made sure the TV (German programming only) and Wi-Fi worked properly, gave us suggestions for restaurants, and parking, etc. All communication from booking to departure was simple and responses to all questions was quickly answered. We enjoyed our stay immensely and highly recommend.
