« My husband and I stayed at Cabin on the Lake while in town for our daughter’s dream wedding. It was minutes from restaurants and shopping in Palmer and Wasilla. The view was spectacular and the cabin was the perfect size for us. My husband dozed off on the sofa one afternoon and commented how comfortable it was. The bedroom, living room and bathroom were spacious and there was plenty of closet space as well. Haley was wonderful. Upon arriving at the airport, she texted us dining recommendations...

« Bon séjour : check in et out rapide, il y a tout le nécessaire dans la cabine, très belle vue sur un étang. On est dans la nature (et par chance : vue sur moose par la fenêtre) petits bémols : la mezzanine est difficile d'accès (c'est dangereux). La cabine est très petite (on ne peut pas garder les valises ouvertes), il y a des moustiques dehors (mais heureusement la proprio a mis des moustiquaires et des produits). Le petit dej est déjà dans le frigo à notre arrivée et un peu léger. Bonne...

« Rustic, but updated log cabin with wrap around porch and cozy fireplace was perfect for our group of two couples. The views from the picture windows adorning the front of the cabin were breathtaking. Comfortable bedding and an adequate supply of coffee, drinking water and spices added to the experience. Friendly goat and outdoor cats was a plus. Definitely a unique accommodation which I would highly recommend. »

« What an awesome place to stay. First time in Alaska and would have to rate this place high first for the cabin and secondly for its location. The cabin was well maintained and very comfortable. We were close to the Denali main gate without all the riff raff that comes with an attraction. Needed some supplies and contacted Jeff the manager via cell phone and he responded within minutes to help us with what we needed. All in all a fabulous experience! »

« We stayed in "Sourdough" and were impressed by the small touches of comfort- coffee pods and cream in the fridge, Turkish towels, a thorough welcome notebook... The place is brand new and shows care in craftsmanship. The cabin has super comfortable beds, and stays very warm and cozy. Great set up for a get away weekend for friends or families. The hot tub can't be beat! Two thumbs up and five stars for sure! »

« The cabin is lovely, very clean and well maintained. All as described. However, you should be prepared for a few things! Boat drop off is a little hairy - if waves are high the water taxi will drop you very quickly (grab your stuff and run off the boat!) or may even decline to drop you on the little beach. « All pots and pans and utensils had old food on them. Had to clean everything first before we could cook. The outhouse pit is quite full and the pit needs to be evacuated. The outhouse seat was quite dirty and had to be cleaned. Decks had not been shoveled all winter so were unusable. Beds were clean and comfortable. »
