+ situation centrale - Très grande structure avec beaucoup de monde Manque d’intimité Propreté relative des sanitaires J’ai fait 2 réservations successives dans cet hébergement : à la 1ere on m’a attribué une chambre dans un bungalow moisie et qui sentait fort l’humidité, de plus la fenêtre ne tenait pas ouverte donc impossible d’aérer et de rester dans cette forte odeur de moisissure. Suite à ma demande on m’a changé de bungalow. Puis la veille de mon départ je reviens à l’établissement et là ma chambre avait été vidée de mes affaires. En allant à la réception on me dit que pour le jour de réservation supplémentaire je ne peux rester dans la même chambre. Je retrouve mes affaires en vrac, certaines fourrées dans des mes sacs, d’autres par terre derrière le comptoir de la réception. Personne ne m’avait prévenu qu’entre mes 2 réservations je devrais changer de chambre. C’est juste honteux de fouiller comme cela dans l’intimité de mes affaires. En plus la réceptionniste est vite devenue désagréable suite à mon mécontentement. Et là elle me replace à nouveau dans la chambre moisie que j’avais déjà refusé une première fois ! (Pour info c’est la no 152 ou 154 je pense) On dirait qu’ils essayent systématiquement de placer cette chambre en espérant de la donner à quelqu’un qui l’acceptera. Je l’ai refusée pour la seconde fois et on m’en a attribué une autre.

We have reached out to our team so we could get some details regarding your stay with us. 2 separate bookings were made through Expedia. The first one was for a double room with shared bathroom, the second booking was for a twin room with shared bathroom. As the bookings were for 2 different room types, check out had to be done in the first room, as your second booking was in different room type. Our team checked the room you were meant to check out from after your first stay and noticed that your belongings were still in the room and check out had not been completed. Our team tried to reach you by phone, we called multiple boat companies to see if you were on a day trip, and we messaged you through Expedia as well, with no success. Our team made all efforts possible to contact you and we also waited as long as we could before respectfully gathering your belongings. The 2 bookings made through Expedia were separate bookings for 2 different types of rooms, so there was no way for our team to notice or let you know that a change of room was required. Our team made sure all your personal belongings were safely at Reception. We truly believe our team went above and beyond in this matter due to the circumstances, even moving you to another room on request for your second stay with us. We are experiencing very high occupancy so a room change is normally not something our team is able to do often. We have liaised with our housekeeping team regarding the damp smell, and we are working on this. Gilles, we will continue to work hard to create the most amazing experience for all our guests, and feedback like yours will help us achieve this. Très bien situé. Un peu en retrait de la route, donc très tranquille. Près de tout (épicerie, resto, agence...) La salle de bain est minimaliste et il est difficile de contrôler la température de l'eau. J'aurais aimé avoir une couverture en plus du petit draps, mais il faut payer. J'ai tout de même apprécié.

Chambre avec lit superposé et sdb partagée, idéalement placé avec bar et restaurant intégré à l'auberge mais calme car les chambres sont a distance du bar. Seul bémol mauvaise odeur dans la chambre et aucune barrière sur le lit du haut

Les bungalows sont répartis dans un jardin, en retrait de la rue principale. C'est donc à la fois calme et à proximité de tout. L'accueil est sympathique et l'auberge propose également un service de réservation pour les activités.

The place to be
From outside, rooms are pretty, in a lot of trees. Very nice. Inside it's correct. Rooms are located far away from commodities. There is a bar and a restaurant (be careful to say you're from magnums to benefit of savings). It's in the main active street. We enjoyed our trip!

Bon rapport qualité/prix
L'endroit et le personnel étaient très bien. La chambre était un peu petite mais bon pour le prix ... en revanche, elle n'était pas très propre et cela peu être amélioré. L'endroit est très bruyant mais on savait à quoi s'attendre. Je pense que pour des couples ou bien des jeunes célibataires cela convient sans problème, en revanche pour les familles, il vaut mieux s'abstenir !

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par cet hôtel, je le recommande vivement, l'hôtesse d'accueil nous a organisé gentiment notre séjour, on nous a garder nos bagages et objets de valeurs gratuitement alors qu'on étaient en croisière sur un voilier et pour couronner le tout, nous avons eu droit a une nuit gratuite a notre retour de croisière. C'est ma première fois que cela nous arrive. Nous avons eu également des tours de vélos et des appels internationaux gratuitement, que dire, le service est parfait dans cet hôtel, je le recommande vivement.

I loved Magnums. We had a triple room with an en-suite and the space was great. The large double commercial kitchen downstairs was always busy but always with enough space to cook. It felt like a tropical resort with lush green trees everywhere.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The property feels a bit like a rainforest with all the trees and canopies. The mattress and the cabin in whole were a bit dated. We didn’t care for the shower (curtain) set up and the way the shower pan had been patched up. The AC was super powerful and we also had a ceiling fan, which was great with all the humidity. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The cabin was comfortable and clean. The air conditioning worked well so the room was always cool, even with very hot temperatures outside. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shared bathroom was maintained well. There were a lot of bugs around all the time as cabins are surrounded by trees.

Brilliant stay in Airlie Beach
We had two brilliant stays separated by a 3 day tour. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the place is amazing, like being in a rainforest. Can’t recommend highly enough. Great location.

Had a great time here! Stayed just one night, arrived after hours, so phoned ahead to let reception know. They advised they would pop a key in a safe box for us and text us the pin number, which they did. Super smooth check in. The room was fine, and the overall layout and feel of the place was great! Excellent location, right across the street from the lagoon. The friendly reception staff were happy to mind our bags for a few hours after we checked out. Highly recommend this place 😊

I liked the setting very much. You felt like you were walking through a rain forest even though you are right in the centre of the main street. The communal areas are very clean, I liked having an electric kettle, some crockery, cutlery and a small fridge in the room. Shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are right on the doorstep. The beach and a swimming area are just a short walk away.

Beautiful setting for this backpackers. Being in our 40s, my friend and I like our home comforts. To find that there are 2 showers to every 6 rooms, and are attached to each accommodation block was great, it not just a massive shower block miles from the room. The showers are really good. Reception staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly.

We stayed in Cabin 74, it had a nice outlook overlooking a hammock and a picnic table. Although the shops were nearly, we felt as though we were in the jungle. In the accommodation, the windows were dirty, the blind wasn't working properly and there were no fly screens. It was still nice though.
