'A classic old school hotel with a huge room, good a/c, our room had a fridge, essential for our needs to store medicine. Pool looks clean and clear, but swim hours end at 6 pm, so no time to get in. The elevator stopped working, but they got it working the next day. Room had a great shade to keep street light out at night. Staff super friendly. But the best: the super fast internet so we could work on zoom without stress. '

'Beautiful historic building that is now a hotel, the rooms are a bit dated, I expected a bit newer standard in the elements of the room. The location is perfect for sightseeing the most iconic parts of Santo Domingo. The staff is very friendly and service was excellent, food was very good as well and we would stay again if we are to visit Santo Domingo again. Great fast check in, fast check out, well run hotel. '
