Our experience at this hotel was disappointing. The staff were generally not very friendly, particularly the lady at reception on the morning of check-out. When we arrived at 8:25 pm, we asked about dinner options, but the night check in staff member told us the kitchen closed at 8:30 pm and suggested we go into town for takeaway. On our way back from the town, as passing the restaurant to the room, we saw a family been served their meal.
Breakfast was advertised from 8:00–10:00 am, but the check-in staff advised us to come at 10:00 am to avoid the wedding party crowd. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the buffet was completely empty where the waiter offered to have the chef cook a plate, there was no real variety left, only one pastry and the bread for toast was picked up shortly after seated as the breakfast waiters started cleaning. Considering we had to pay extra for breakfast this was very disappointing.
As the only brown family we saw at the hotel, we also left with the uncomfortable feeling of being treated differently, which made our stay even less enjoyable.
On the positive, the lady at the spa desk was very friendly and spa facilities good.
Firm bed, bathroom amenities available with tea and coffee options and complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. Free and ample parking on site.
