Hotels in de buurt van Abell's Wharf (Leonardtown)

'Place was clean and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were advertised as sound proof, but that was not the case.'

'Breakfast was good, the staff constantly replenished any items that were running low and were very friendly. Had some communication issue with front desk and room wasn’t made up one day. Bed was comfortable'

'A clean, pleasant hotel with lots of light and friendly staff in the middle of little Leonardtown. I actually asked the front desk if they were new because of how clean everything was and they said they did a major renovation about 5 years ago. Easy (and FREE) parking across the street. Our room (a king bed) was clean and quiet. If we're ever in the area again, this is where we'd stay.'

'Kind and respectful staff! Close to nice restaurants and stores. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable and clean.'

'The views were absolutely beautiful the rooms however, needed a lot of love. The furniture and beds need to be replaced. I have to cover the couch with the sheet in order to sit on it. Went to get some ice from the ice-maker and it was out of order, no store within 15 miles. The staff at the front desk was able to give me ice from an ice bag but is it was the bottom of the bag and it had a lot of snow in it. I would definitely stay here again. It’s peaceful, quiet and beautiful, but an update is...

'Clean rooms'

'The stay was ok until I tried to leave. At checkout time I was told that I still owed $8.20 for parking. I almost lost it. As a Hilton honors I never payed for parking anywhere I have stayed. I would really like someone to explain why this happened at a Hilton Hotel.'

'Heel fijn hotel. Kamer ruim genoeg. Goed ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Mooie ligging en makkelijk om op de hoofdweg te komen. De niet roken Kamer rook helaas nog wel naar rook. '

'This is an older hotel that really hasn't kept up to today's expectations for the average hotel guest. But, for the price, I got exactly what I expected, that being a clean room, a place to bathe, a small kitchenette and a place to sleep. The staff was friendly & helpful. For those giving bad reviews for this place, I'd only remind them that this was by far, the cheapest place around. I only paid $64 per night, so I think I got a good deal.'

'If you want a quiet slice of VA/Potomac waterfront, this is the place.'
