'Breakfast cold at 9 am, no roomcleaning, bad management. Nice swimming pool, nice view, lot of stairs.'

'The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride . The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue. I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella.'

'We had a wonderful stay! The view of the Nine Arch Bridge and jungle was so beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast was really good, too! The complimentary tuk-tuk service to and from the main road to the accommodation was especially appreciated given the steep and narrow road. Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we would happily recommend!'

'Zeer vriendelijk personeel, uitgebreid ontbijt'

'Tranquility and friendly staff'

'Vriendelijk personeel, kamers zijn op het eerste zicht proper maar badkamer is dringend toe aan een goede poetsbeurt. Maar dit is typisch Sri Likaans '

'Fantastic view and beautiful accommodation.'

'Very nice to stay! Highly recommend.'

'I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back.'

'Un grand merci à l'hôte, absolument génial : il s'est rendu disponible pour nous accompagner sur une randonnée formidable de plus de 5 heures, un vrai moment fort de notre séjour. Le petit-déjeuner était incroyable et très copieux — un vrai régal pour bien démarrer la journée. Côté hébergement, c'est un camping et il faut le savoir : le confort est correct mais rustique, à apprécier surtout si l'on est déjà habitué à ce type de séjour. L'isolation au bruit est limitée — une boîte de nuit se...

'Incredible views!'

'Indran and John were so kind and helpful. They really made us feel at home. John''s cooking was delicious, the view from our balcony was spectacukar, and our room was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay at the Ella Alpine Resort.'

'The room was excellent. Had everything I needed. Only thing I would add is an additional plug socket to the room. Melani was phenomenal from the start and throughout, she went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was made fresh every morning and Melani checked what I wanted and even accommodated things like getting low fat options, which she didn’t need to do. The star of this hotel besides the staff is the view from the balcony! Looking out onto Ella was lovely,...
