'End of January we stayed in Hotel Le Val Thorens. Perfect hotel, young, nice, friendly and active personnel working at various locations in the hotel (restaurant, reception, lounge bar, etc). Location is excellent in VT, not only to enter the slopes for skiing or snowboarding, but also to go for a drink or meal in the evening. Rooms are well equipped, clean and quiet. It is not the cheapest solution in VT, but in view of the price/service ratio, it was worthwhile for us. One point of attention...

'We loved the hotel. Staff were so friendly, family duplex rooms were great, ski in ski out fabulous, breakfast was lovely, freshly baked bread every morning - the fruit one was especially delicious!! Amazing views from our balcony!!! Our only improvement would be more hanging space for clothes and hooks by the door for ski coats!'

'What can I say, a fantastic hotel experience!! Clean, extremely comfortable and excellent service from all staff! Lovely breakfast, great location, Cosy bar area, nearby covered parking and a lovely little spa. The outdoor pool boasts amazing views of the mountains, just magical!! I highly recommend this lovely little property, my only improvement comment is the toilet roll provided in rooms which is a little too rough, so I purchased my own. Other than that, our experience was faultless....

'The hotel is ideal for skiing and is essentially a ski in/ski out property with a very short walk from the back of the hotel to the gondola. There is a ski rental at the entrance to the hotel. The staff is very nice. However, the hotel is a little worn and could use some updating.
