« A mid week mini break for my husband and I. I stayed in the Hideout several years previously and found the apartment to be what I expected it to be. Location in medieval part was ideal for exploring Hull. It is a short walk to the train station and there are several small independent cafes close by. « We didn’t even get to stay in the hotel waited 30minutes outside for them to tell us the people before damaged the property so we could not stay so they left a 18year old and 17 year old with no where to stay 3hours away from home so not the best visit if I say so myself and will not be going back »

« Apartment was lovely - they had thought of everything, but what then let it down, was the use of cheap blinds that were almost see through and poorly fitting, and no curtains in the bedroom! There was also an overwhelming smell of what seemed to be damp. The apartment was really well thought out and very comfortable, but just let down by those 2 things. »

We were full of admiration for the achievements of the couple who own it and would love to visit again later to see the final steps, and to see the garden again as it grows and develops.
