'I would definitely stay here again! The staff was very nice, the room was clean with a comfortable bed, cold AC, and working TV. The shower had plenty of hot water. 'DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! BEWARE, SCAM! First, the place was in shambles, complete disarray. Second, nobody was attending, we had to find the contact number and call the owner, who showed up about an hour later after we arrived at check in time. Then he refused to grant us a room and demanded we pay double the rate agreed upon. We asked that he issue a refund and he accepted, but when Hotels.com/Expedia asked for consent, he refused to grant the refund. '

'You can fly directly to San Juan del Norte (Greytown), take a five minute boat ride to the lodge, and stay right in the middle of a 4,500 sq km bioreserve. We flew into San Carlos and took a 6-7 hour boat trip down the river to SJN. Patricia was knowledgeable, informative, and quick to respond in helping me to organize arrival and departure details.
