'We chose this hotel to relax and recover from staying in hospital in Kathmandu after a urinary infection. We had stayed there for two days, during which it rained and hailed a lot and because there is nothing else on walking distance we ate all meals in the hotel’s restaurant. During these two days there were hardly any guests, which made us worry how they managed to stay open. 'We loved our stay at Hotel Lake Shore. We originally booked three nights as we hadn’t firmed up our travel plans. But after the first day we realized this was the perfect base to explore Pokhara. This is a comfortable, family owned hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but our room had a view of Lake Fewa and from our balcony we could see the mountains. 'Fairly quiet area. My room on the third floor was nice and drafty. It had access to the wrap around balcony and rooftop staircase access. This is a family owned hotel and they provide several things, such as laundry service, breakfast, taxi service, paragliding, bungee jumping, short and long Himalaya trekking expeditions with guides and transportation to all locations. The prices for activities are comparable to other companies in Pokhara, but it seemed much more convenient to use Cherry Garden...

'天気が良いとベランダや屋上からマチャプチャレなどヒマラヤ山脈の山々が綺麗に見ることができる眺望の良いホテルです。 MDのPrajol Giriさんは日本語がお上手で、外国語でのコミュニケーションに難のある自分にとっては大変助かりました。フロントの女性スタッフも親切で親身に対応してくれました。Holi祭の日に粉を付けてもらったのは良い思い出です。またポカラに行った際は滞在したいと思えるホテルでした。'

'A truly great find. Walkable to the town centre. The room itself was fabulous. Very modern and stylish with fast WiFi. The staff here were also amazing and friendly. Not to do with the hotel but if you want to do Paragliding when you’re in Pokhara there’s a shop two doors up the road who are the best in Pokhara'

'Adam en zijn team zijn super vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Ze spreken goed engels en staan steeds klaar om je te helpen. Wij verbleven er 6 nachten en voelden ons er echt thuis. Het hotel ligt vlak in het centrum dus echt ideaal. Dit is echt een aanrader!!!'

'It was really good. This family run hotel is clean and very well run. Nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly, extremely helpful, they go that extra mile to ensure everything is as you want. Breakfast is also good and plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel '
