« Amazing location, amazing wildlife, great hosts, perfect Lake District guest house »

« I stayed Monday to Friday as I was working in Whitehaven. Kitchen had everything I needed, bed was comfy, nice reclining sofasvand good wifi. House was well located, took a stroll to the castle in the evening and the co-op supermarket v. close, quite big and with a good selection. »

« Just brilliant, the owners are brilliant and the property was modest and comfortable. I don’t judge on cost but if I did I would say that the Room rates were reasonable. This combination is so hard to find in 2025 »

« Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. »
