« We stayed for 17 days.
The listing states "ski in / ski out access". This is untrue. The property is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There are portions of the walk that are unsafe if there is snow in the side of the roads, busses and traffic have to stop and go around pedestrians. The ski shuttle stop is at the resort. Uber/Taxi was 12 USD one way at the time of our stay/this review.
There is no breakfast or food whatsoever at this hotel. There is one microwave for the entire hotel. It was...

« I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The man running the place was helpful, and kind. He got up at 3am to help the people leaving for a mountain journey, everyday that I was there. He also did some praying around 5:30am, so if you're not ready for that it can be a bit surprising to wake up to lol. But overall it was lovely, and I will think of this place the next time I'm in Azumino. It is far out of town tho, so keep that in mind! »

« Great place to access the village and restaurants. A short walk to the Happo One bus terminal so it was easy to get to all of the ski areas of Happo Valley.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a nice bonus that we weren’t expecting. »
