'We had an incident - there were flies coming up through the shower drain - and the staff responded quickly and moved us to another room. A fire alarm went off twice early in the morning in an adjacent room, and they sent someone quickly on both occasions to investigate and shut it down, but I did have to get up, go into the hallway to isolate the source, and call the front desk twice.
The building dates to the 1960s; probably for that reason it was not as well designed as more contemporary...
'Such a fun visit! Definitely recommend the ghost stories and dinner add on. The property is chock full of amazing artifacts and artwork. Food is 5 star excellent. Hosts are wonderful people! We plan to return with family soon!'
'When we arrived late afternoon there was a note attached to the front door directing us to our room and that they were busy with another client, but did supply a number to call. Our room door was wide open with the keys laying on a table. We did try to call to ask about the wifi and breakfast. We received a text, 3 hours later, with the wifi info and that we were not getting breakfast or coffee as it was not included. I understand about breakfast, but no coffee?
There was no TV's anywhere and...
'The only problem I had was the ADA toilet was too low for anyone with a leg handicap. Stepping into the shower was okay for me but you should be warned about the toilet.'
