'We stayed in the lodge. The mattress was about 3" thick and 20 years old. The mini-refrigerator had no controls and froze our food. The room had a nice flat screen TV but no local channels or cable, so was worthless. There were 3 lights in the room all with dim bulbs. We were forced to close the blinds and be in a dark, dreary room or open the blinds and be on display for anyone who walked past. The "resort" is not close to shopping or restaurants. This place could be grand if you want...
'The hotel lacked a sign but once you found it, all was good. The roo. Is basic but it has a microwave and coffee maker. There is a store attached to the hotel which has all you need. It is in a very rural area mostly for fishing or hunting. It is close to Crater Lake which was my destination so it worked out well. The TV selection kept much to be desired. 'The staff was amazing. Very friendly across the board. The breakfast was continental with a waffle maker, but no other hot items. The property is older, so I understand the “quaint” or “rustic” descriptions. But still, the couch in the room was well worn and very uncomfortable. The bed was extremely firm and very uncomfortable. The a/c unit was quite loud. The decor was dated. The room itself had no real charm to speak of. There were not enough outlets to conveniently charge basic electronics...
'Het was oké. Kamer was groot en gerenoveerd, badkamer ook netjes en modern. Het is meer de buitenkant dat eruit ziet als een ouderwets motel met 2 verdiepingen. De buitenkant ziet er oud en matig onderhouden uit.
Checkin gaat vlot en je krijgt een code mee om de deur van de kamer te openen. Bij uit check vertrek je gewoon. Weinig contact dus met het personeel. '
