'We stayed 2 nights in Iguana Lodge, one before and one after our 3 day jungle trek through Corcovado NP. Perfect place to prepare and recover for a tough hike. Splendid contemporary rooms with ocean views, friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. Breakfast was a little basic. '

'An outstanding property; one of the best I have ever stayed at. The views are incredible, rooms are well kept and bar and restaurant are open 6a-10p. But you do need 4wd to get up the mountain on a rough road to it (faster is better) and the food is very healthy and may not be enough for everyone, but is delicious. Staff become family quickly. We'll be back.'

'Outstanding, and the perfect end to a travel and tour-filled vacation. Vayu is an idyllic retreat, nestled in the jungle, surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature. We were even visited by a pair of inquisitive toucans. The rooms are huge - clean and a bed with bedding more comfortable than home. Everything has been perfectly considered - design and integration of technology (most notably the lighting and sound systems).
