'This place is BRAND NEW! GREAT way to spend a night. It's like the world's best modular container home. We arrived late (10pm) and were able to get into our "home" using the code on the door. Very straight forward. What I did not appreciate was the laundry list of what we had to do: make our own bed at 10 pm, next day put away the bed (it's a couch) and take trash out, start dishwasher, etc etc etc. I am on vacation, I can do chores back home. 'Hotelroom was clean. The family room was spacey. Breakfast was ok. Considering that breakfast starts at 4 am, the eggs were not that good anymore at 7 am. There was fresh bread and fresh fruits (eg kiwi and oranges). The worst thing was the bed spring (metal). If my partner turned, I also noted that. Hotel is 3 minute walk from or to departure.'

'Great location on the far side of Thingvellir National Park close to the new Laugarás Lagoon. Freya Farm is truly a family owned farm by a wonderful young family. They were so kind and the property is absolutely stunning. The owner took us for a short hike around their backyard to an amazing river. This is truly a hidden jem.'

'Brand new, sparkling clean, and set up with a lot of thought to detail. The kitchen has an induction stove and oven, dishes, fridge, washer, etc, all fully modern. Two comfortable bedrooms, well designed bathroom with a washer-dryer (Tide pods supplied). TV with streaming services, but no local TV. Located right in the centre of Selfoss with everything a short walk away. I couldn't have asked for a better resting spot.'
