'Trust the reviews on this one. It's very walkable to the main beach and many dining and shopping options. Two nice coffee shops nearby as well. It's small -- not a lot of room for suitcases, packages, etc but it's VERY cute and cozy. Also, the rooms are on the second floor (outdoor steps) so be mindful when packing a 50-pound suitcase. '

'We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Communication with the host was great. All questions answered quickly. Everything was accurately described. Beds were fantastic! The living area was comfortable with an awesome recliner. Kitchen has everything you need & it was a bonus to find a pantry with staples such as spices & oils. Great water pressure in the shower. Love the outdoor front patio. Perfect for morning/afternoon sun if the beach is too windy. Location was perfect. Grocery store was...

'We booked this house last minute for our fall break trip. It was great for so many reasons!! They allowed dogs, was one house off the sand, had great views of the beach/ocean/jetty from the patio, easy access to grocery and food options, plus there was a fire pit, sauna, and hot tub! The house was clean and well stocked with all the basic amenities. Drew the owner was very communicative and friendly. '

'A gem of a bungalow in Laguna near one of the best beaches in the area. We enjoyed our stay. The property manager was helpful and generously mailed back a charger that I left behind. '

'The cottage is nicely appointed, and we liked having a parking spot and laundry facilities. Very clean, very quiet. Nice outdoor area for relaxing and space for an 18 month old to play. Janet and Scott were immediately available by phone to help with a minor electrical issue. There were toys and a high chair we used, and a pack & play, which we did not. Roomy closets in both bedrooms, comfortable beds. Would love to stay here again.'

'This is a beautiful little beach cottage situated just 2 1/2 blocks from a lovely beach! It was easy to check in and the neighborhood was quiet with the exception of airplanes which we easily drown out by leaving the bathroom fan on! We visited the zoo, Balboa Park museums, Point Loma Tide Pools , Cabrillo National Monument, and of course, the beach! My only complaint is that our stay was too short!'

'Overall great stay. The property was as described and very convenient and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and spices. My only concern is that I had some questions ahead of time the manager didn't respond to email or text. I finally called her the day of and she was able to assist me. '

'Fine little cottage right on the PCH and comfortable walk to Victoria Beach! House had all essentials except for an iron and ironing board. Also, questionable whether or not the bed is actually a king-sized bed as stated on the listing. It was much smaller than anticipated and looked to be the size of a queen. Beside that, the stay was pleasant and met our needs. The communication with caretaker was quick, thorough and helpful. Would recommend this location for future stays. Thank you!'

'We found our cottage to be very comfortable and well equipped. We did have a minor plumbing issue which was immediately taken care of by the property manager. We found this property to be very quiet and beautiful. Pretty gardens throughout the property add to the relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely stay here again.'

Fabulous

"What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace."

"Perfect location. Rooms are dated. I don’t like it when they say that your room is available but because its a few hours to early (because of an early flight) you have to pay 25 dollar extra. Room was not clean (empty packaging latex contraceptives) behind the bed. Als in tower 3 there was somebody “welcomes” you with a wheel you can turn to win a 120 minutes time share meeting….."

"Motel 6 LAX was a convenient location for an overnight stay ahead of our flight home. Car rental return is nearby and shuttle to LAX is on time and it only takes about 10 minutes to departure terminal."
